old multitester

i have this, my dads friend was throwing it out and my dad grabbed it.

question is, is there a collectors value to this? it doesnt work, but there is not much to it so i was going to put new resistors in it and maybe vacuum tube if it needs. if theres a value to collectors, would it be better off to just leave it original/non working, or restore it. the outer condition is better on mine than the one on that page

there might be a collector out there,but you will have to look hard. most collectors prefer original untouched things. if you are going to look for one leave it alone for know. if you find one ask if it needs to be in working condition before you potentially devalue it. honestly i have no clue where you would post this question on here, maybe general discussion, as it doesnt pertain to modding, and it doesnt look like anyone else is going to answer.

Try looking for the old guys that play with old tube radios etc. That would likely be your best bet.
