You would not have liked that mod/tank that you mentioned! It's what known as a "cloud chaser". You want more of a MTL (mouth to lung) or even restricted DTL (direct to lung) Don't worry there is some lingo to learn... we will help. There are many refillable "pods" or AIO (all in one) They would be better for a starter, but my choice would be a Geekvape Frenzy:

Many vape shops will try to talk you into a "cloud chaser" and charge way too much (for juice too) I got a mod for $10 and a tank for $10... also 5 pack of coils for $4 ($100 can go a long way if you are patient)
I almost forgot... welcome and congrats on your pursuit to quit cigs! It won't be easy! Try 18mg nicotine at first (or 25mg "salts"... don't get caught up in the slats thing, most devices can use either) I like juice that is 65VG/35PG. Some "pods" do well with 50/50 and if you do get a DTL type maybe 70VG/30PG (more VG = thicker, more PG = thinner) I know this is a lot to absorb, that's why I say get something smaller for now, then shop around. I GET THE BATTERY CHARGER BEFORE I GET MY PICO, BATTERIES AND JUICE. AND THE CHARGER WAS ORDERED A DAY AFTER...
because i ordered a usb powered instead of a wall wart. i contacted misthub and that customer service guy was falling all over himself helping me. he tracked down the order and substituted the other charger, kudos.
right now the post office track indicates it's sitting 4 blocks from my houses. cross fingers, it'll be here by 3 tomorrow.

Glad to hear Glad to hear people are taking advantage of that juice deal (you will even get 1 or 2 extra surprises) I didn't really like the gold label (sort of like marlboro but I was american spirit guy myself) I did like wrangler (especially with RY4ever) Mango peach tango is really strong (like it, but have to dilute it with my DIY "base") Pina Colada sounds great... wish I had tried that. I like 65VG/35PG myself but 50/50 will easily keep your coils saturated.
I know how it feels when things come late... most are on time, but got some DIY supplies from NicRiv and it took forever to even leave their warehouse (and they are here in CA) Drove me nuts!

i do play guitar but i was doing vocals and harmonica at that time, 1974. my avatar is two parts of the boogie hollin band. i have a g&l legacy and a gibson rvs goldtone .

It's a lap type steel (slide) made from scrap lumber. Not much to look at but sounds nice. It is a "prototype"... now I will build a similar one that will be more of a "work of art".

Good news (except the juice) I want to compliment you for your choice of starter kit. Most people starting out either get a small pod or get a big mod with sub-ohm cloud chaser tank (there are great "pods" but the better ones are actually AIO, and not all tanks with coils below 1 ohm are cloud chasers) I do have the same charger. If charging one battery, put it on the right side. If you have two batteries, you have some choices. Use one, then replace with the other and wait till both are low and charge together. Or just use one, put in the charger and use the other. Not a big difference actually. Charger is 2 amp so when charging single battery it gets all 2 amps, while charging two batteries they get 1 amp each (slower but I like that) Some 18650 batteries can take 4 amps so no worries that you are pushing them too hard (I just learned that) After you charge, try out your mod without the tank (so you don't risk frying the coil wick) It won't show coil ohms (obviously with no coil) but you can play with the menu.
You don't have any friends that vape so you can get some juice to fill your tank? Is local vape shop too far away?
Did you get extra coils? To prime coil, put a couple drops down top hole of coil, wait a few minutes and put a couple more. Fill tank and wait 10 minutes. Put tank on mod and take a few "primer puffs" (draw air but don't hit fire button) You will be ready to go... vape away! Those batteries will last a long time with that setup, but also consider getting a small backup device ( especially if you only have one battery)
