Nice to meet you, too, mistinthewoods! So what is the difference between Riva 901 and Riva 510? And what are kr808 D-1 cartomizers (I'm seeing numbers everywhere on this post, and I have no idea what they mean)? What is the difference between cartomizers and atomizers, and how long do cartomizers last? Thanks! :)

Hi Not, sorry it took so long for me to get back to this thread I didn't read the posts that were made after you asked these questions so if someone else answered them this will just be redundant, won't it?
A 510 is a different model from the 901. It's threads are reversed, for one thing (Battery has female threads and atty has the male). The difference in performance between the two, according to popular opinion, is that the 510 has better throat hit and the 901 provides better flavor.
A kr808 D-1 is yet another model and uses only cartomizers. A cartomizer, or carto, is a cartridge with a built in atomizer. Thewy have cartos in the 510 style as well. A typical carto holds about 25 drops of juice so you can compare that to what you can put in your 901 cartridge. They make mega cartos that hold much more. I just ordered some that hold between 60 and 70 drops. People say that they're going 4 hours between refills on those.
This e-cig thing is changing FAST! You missed a lot in the last year. I have 4 of those Riva kits that I very rarely use because I have a small collection of very nice mods. I have one 901 Riva kit that I never even opened. I only bought the last two because they were such a good deal.
If I can be of any further help to you feel free to shoot me a PM. I'm always glad to do what I can.
