SWEET HOME ALABAMA
I am sure I am not the only one that needs help with these mechanical mods and kicks.
Could we please post pics and links to easy ways or best ways to get these things working right?
I don't think my kick is connecting right. I am getting a hit once in a while.... I don't want to keep playing with it cause I am worried
I will break it or make it not usable.
Any help would be great....BUT I am A VISUAL LEARNER, so pics and videos are best!!!

Thanks everyone!!!

The one with Brass ends is the one I am trying to get the Clone kick to work in...
I got it from a group purchase but I cant pull up the files it would be under....
man if you have one and got it from a buck hunter maybe you know what I am talking about....
I don't know if I can post it on "ecf" I am so unsure of a lot of the rules still and yes I am a long timer on here.... JUST SLOW at learning LOL:laugh:

edit: I know it is a sigelei clone... so lets start there.......

Nowhere
It should work in almost anything that it can make solid contact with the inner wall of. In between the top of the battery and the positive post of the mod, it needs to make contact to those and the inner wall of the mod. If it is doing that and isn't working, trying sanding the inner wall of your mod a little bit in case there is a coating in there.

Not much else to it, it fits with one battery size smaller the the tube allows or if it's telescoping, just telescope it like you would with just a battery. The main problem people had with them not working is it not making solid contact with the mod as the ground spring wasn't the greatest. This is changed in the kick 2, which uses two little spring loaded posts.

The sigelei version seems to have one tiny post, I would guess that would be the issue, needs to be making good contact. It can't be loose at all in the tube. If it's loose maybe use a tiny o-ring wedged on the opposite side from the contact to secure it, I dunno.

Noalox helps as well. Noalox is a kind of "grease" the you use to lube the threads on mods. It makes the device screw together more smoothly and it also helps with conductivity. It had a problem with a couple of my mods not working well with the kick and this helped a lot.

Cut a piece of thin cardboard 1/2 the diameter or the Kick. Place the cardboard Opposite from the Grounding Button as you install the kick in the top of the tube.

Looks to be a Sigelei (smok) kick and they are not a very proper fit for many mods. I know, I have 2 and have 6 mods with varying results.
