Problems with smoke telescope and kick. Please help.

Hello guys/girls. So I am having major problems with my smoke telescope and kick combo. I have the newer version of the telescope stainless and it's advertised as the rebuildable telescope. So any way, when I use this without the kick it works pretty well does not fire 100% of the time. As soon as I Put the kick and my 18490 battery in and screw it down it just doesn't want to fire right !! No matter how I try to adjust with the kick in side it only fires like 20% of the times I push the button. This is really starting to piss me of. Does any one have any suggestion ?? Thanks again. I know it's not my kick because when I actually get it to make a good connection and fire it works great. Any help would be great.

Did you sand the inside of your tube where the kick makes contact to the side? There may be some plating residue on there.

No I did not try that yet. It looked pretty smooth in there so I did not think that was a problem. Should I sand down the contacts that touch the battery also ????

No need for that, just make sure where the spring touches the inside of the tube is sanded and nothing is keeping it from making good contact...
