Greetings,

I used to vape 2-3 years ago using mainly kr808's and 901 attys, but have since stopped vaping completely.

I am ready to quit smoking and make the switch to vaping since my main issues a few years ago was the general hassle of quickly drained batteries and having to constantly add juice via dripping or refilling cartos. It was just messy, especially on the go.

The technology has really changed since then and I would appreciate some advice on a new setup.

My current thoughts are:

Zmax V3
4 IMR18350 bats
2 IMR18650 bats
Ego VV Twist 2 900mah bats (as a backup)
Ego VV Passthrough
Vivi Nova (and nova mini) tanks
Kanger T2 carts
Vision V3 Clearomizers
Battery Chargers as needed

Now a few questions :

Does the above seem adequate for making a 100% jump to vaping?
Are there any other setups I should consider?
Is there anything else I should add to the above setup?
Any advice on which vendors to look at?

Your advice is much appreciated... thanks!

I like your list, excellent choices. I'm gonna say maybe not on the Vivi Novas. I've been using them for almost a year, so they are pretty good. I've been increasingly frustrated with them though. Go for the Evods, those will work great on your twists. The Protank is also good, but it is glass with a metal mouthpiece. For me, that just wasn't happening. I went with the Anyvape BCC instead as my larger tank (to use on my Zmax v3) and evods on my twists. They all use the same heads, so that makes it easy too. In any case, Varitube has all three available:
Tanks, Carto's etc

I have more vape junk than I will use up in this lifetime...including a ProVari ! What do I end up using day in and day out? Two vision spinners, a half dozen Kanger MT-3 (bottom coils) and (don't "Boo!" now!) the new Vapor4Life 5 volt Zeus with 2-3 "Smileomizers".

I get most of my stuff from GotVapes, Surevape (free shipping), and MountBakerVaper and ECBlend...(and the 5-volt Zeus from vapor4life). I smoked from 1967 to 2011...when I first started (after my cig-alike period) I kinda got into all the futzing around with cartos and coils and on and on...but the "fun" wore off, and now I just want to fill something with juice and get on with life. The Kanger mt3s have ever failed me...I don't have to "swirl them around" to make sure the strings are wet, they don't leak, they don't consume juice by the liter...and they are easy enough for THIS old gramma to fill and use, even on the worst arthritic days...

Good luck...and wishing you many years of vaping (not smoking!). Welcome back!

Whoa! Do you really want to dump 'nother wallet on $hot gunnin' for a satisfactory vape?

Just get a couple o' eGo Spinners/Twists and a small variety of sample joose devices. Those will deliver a sat vape once you find a fav flav! If ya try unsavory flavs, da equipment is basically useless!

Vaping hardware has come a loooong ways in da very recent past. Once ya find an acceptable joose, then go out and play da PV/joose device field. Your wallet will thank ya!!!

Wow, your kit seems a bit of overkill to me. If you are planning on making the jump to APVs straight away, you may think about only the eGo passthrough or maybe something like a 400-650 mah ego that looks inconspicuous for situations that require some stealth where vaping is concerned. I might suggest that you try Kanger's T3, so you can at least try something bottom coil as well.

One more suggestion....completely different from all of the above, but....you asked. Have you considered a bottomfeeder mod? I have a REO (several, actually) that has the 3ml or 6 ml bottle (depending on the model) on board, runs on AW IMR batteries (various sizes depending on the model), and runs any 510 atty/carto or (my favorite) bottom fed RBA. Best/easiest vape in the world. reosmods.com

If you have any questions, go to the reos mods sub-forum and ask. You'll get answers.
