Perhaps we need our own social group. Welcome from another 'old broad':)

are we wiser cuz we're older? there seems to be a lot of us here...old farts, senior citizens, senior cougars, old geezers...and we're all free FINALLY of analogs:D

Welcome, and thanks for the intro. That was great.

I guess several of us that have been smoking for 40+ years are amazed something like e-cigs work. I got mine, after spending a week or so reviewing this forum, the week of Thanksgiving. Since then, I haven't smoked more than 8 or 10 analogs, and that was during December. Heck, they don't seem to taste that good anymore. And, of the 3 smokers at my job, 2 of them have "converted" based on my success.

Ain't it great?

Hey Gordon, how nice to see a vaper in my area. :) Are you encountering any "looks" when vaping in public here in town?

We should start a group and instead of AARP we could call it AVRP-Associaton for Vapors of retired people. This would be for people over 50 years old. There is so much to be discussed (health care changes for Medicare, donut hole, getting senior citizens discount on ecigs and supplies, how was it to quit smoking after 30 and more years, how it affected our health from smoking, what old farts do for fun, our knowledge from our age, what work did we use to do, our social security benefits and paying for insurance, ,paying taxes after retirement, how the drop in stock market affected our savings, etc.

Who knows how to start a group?
