that's pretty much what I do with the 5% on each single flavour

if you did go to 2% on the EM though that will be more then enough for it to start farting about with your juice

0.5% EM <tops!!

Right that's it im going to stop defending the 'EM' corner, I cant keep repeating myself anymore its making me crazy :)

gl and have a very nice day :D

I never go over 2% on any sweetener. I was like you, when I used EM. The flavors just got muted and tasted weird, not sweet, but almost dusty like. So I switch to stevia or sucralose, and never had a problem with that again. Sometimes if you add too much flavor, it will tend to dull the flavor and not get stronger. I mostly use TFA and FA flavors, I never go over 5% on any one flavor I use.

EM at 0.5% or so will tame sharp flavors, like turning a lime-zest flavor to smooth lime.
EM at higher percents can mute flavors to tasteless.
Sucralose adds sweetness, but as a recipe with sucralose ages, the effect fades.
Stevia adds the distinct flavor of stevia leaves. Try it in coffee or tea before you use it in vapes, to be sure you like that flavor.

I have a major sweet tooth, and I no longer use any of those. Instead I add sweet flavors to both sweeten and add flavor. Which I add depends on the rest of the recipe. Some of my favorite sweeteners: caramel, butterscotch, meringue, marshmallow, honey, brown sugar, molasses, maple syrup, anise, sweet fruit flavors, or sweet creams (esp FA's Vienna Cream), torrone (Italian nougat), even walnut. Most of mine are FlavourArt, some are The Flavor Apprentice.

I do the same, either sweeter fruit flavors, or Bavarian Creme. It's what I had on hand at the time, and it worked. I later read that both me and sucralose sweeteners dull/diminish flavors, so those aren't on my order list.

Sucralose also kills flavor - it just takes a few days for it to happen.

Those sold on sucralose (especially those that have been using it for awhile and have formulated their mixes based on it), typically have to do very controlled "side by side" tests to convince themselves...but there are some things that are not subjective, and 'sucralose mutes/kills flavor' is one of 'em.

Regarding the addition of sucralose (and other additives that diminish flavor), from here, Post #413: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...s-flavor-add-ons-em-vw-bw-mts-acv-ect-11.html

Well, I make small batches, usually no more than 10ml. I change flavors all the time. I probably never notice sucralose changing the flavor, cause I'm done with the batch in a day or two. Plus I enjoy the aftertaste that sucralose provides (that lingering sugar taste). To each their own, everyone has different tastes. It's fun learning this stuff, experimenting, creating a new concoction.

i personaly really dont like koolada, that thing have a disturbing effect LOL

but since ive started DIY, im still in the search of THE ingrédients to make the juice more full flavored, i mean they all misses something to be like,i dont need to buy another bottle from merchants.

i really like very present flavors and all my juice except for Tobaccos misses the little sweet thing i expect from fruity juices.

i have lot of other sample on the way and now ive tried 2% saline in them they are now in steeping....
i scrapped the sample that was muted by em and remake them with only .5% em ill see how they goes......

ill definitely try sour next purchase.

2% is too much imo. I'm not against the em's, vinegars, and salines and stuff, but I don't think they are all they are cracked up to be. They don't appear right away and go to the dark side in a hurry. Additives are like lemmings, there is a cliff they fall off of. I think the secret to additives is 'addlessitives'.

well i have caramel original TPA with 2% saline and its like...... a new flavor..... not bad, but kinda funny taste

the others are ok, maybe 2% was a little too much, but caramel original is really tasty by itself might use this for the sweetening thing also thinking about buying brow sugar theres not much bad reviews about it also.

still on my quest to find how to get the FULL flavored aspect!!
