Just got my brand new IB tank in today. (yea for a noob I made a mell of a hess). Once I got it primed and ready it is more wonder ful that words can describe. I really didn't think it would be that tight on the carto but OMG . Getting ready to order at least a couple more of them. Using LR boge pre punched cartos and I'm the happiest man in the world.

I got even more goodies that I haven't even checked out yet. Merry Christmas Timmy. Giggling like a little 3 year old kid on Christmas day.

Got a slap yo momma coming today. Man this thing is a juice hog. Has to be the tank cause I know I wouldn't do anything like suck all the juice. I think?
So that's what it's for. Wish I'd have m own that last night. Might have saved me a lot of spilled juice.

I know now why people go to the carto tank system.

My problem with most tanks is how messy they are and annoying to refill. I'd like to see a tank with screw on caps like the vivi's but with a carto that "screws" in instead of shoves in from the bottom, and a screw on cap on the top for easier refilling. There's no reason it can't be done, just would require a threaded carto and an oring between the the base and the carto screw to stop leaks. The only reason I use a vivi over a carto tank is the mess and annoyance of it.

There are cartotanks that have screw/pop off tops. Go to Hoosier Vapes and take a look at their Evolution series tanks. The top cap is all one piece, including the mouthpiece. The Bella's use a standard carto, and the Elegance's take an XL carto. A little on the pricey side of things ($50), but they are unique in that no two are alike and you have that easy fill feature. I matched my Elegance tank with a Phiniac XL pyrex tube that is color sandblasted with one of their designs.

For your cartotanks that use the usual endcaps, buy yourself the Slap-yo-Moma tank tool from Big Daddy Vapors. Not only will it allow easier tank filling, it will protect your tank's o-rings during assembly and juice filling. Available in SS for $13 or delrin for $8 - it will be the best investment you make in vaping. Everyone who uses a cartotank needs one. http://bigdaddyvapor.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=13&zenid=g33nek4pfs6v142li0i0t4hh94

Agree and second the slap yo momma tool. I got the stainless steal and the little pill box to keep it in.

I love the slap yo momma tool for my regular capped tanks but for the pyrex tanks with grommets, I find using a syringe and needle works best. Hoever you have to use an additional needle sticking out of the opposite end to really see the magic. This way when you are pushing the juice in with the syringe, the air it displaces goes out of the other 'vent' needle instead of being forced through the carto which would cause it to flood. Looks strange but works like a charm. I use small 20g needles to avoid tearing up the grommets.

These grommet tanks provide such a nice tight seal that an extra small, let me say that again SMALL hole punched at the top of the carto below the top grommet, keeps them wicking all the way to empty. They tend to get dry about halfway through requiring a lot of sucking or blowing without it especially with thicker juices.
