Wow! I can't wait to see this beast! You seem excited, Isaac... :)
You should feel these nipples! lol had to say it just for you, now stop trying to feel!
Gonna be some happy campers around here
Omg yes Switcher
Yep, mine is still going. You just can't beat it for dependability and I love where the button is.
Bottom button placement on mod's kills my hand and the lizard is comfy, and the perfect size to boot.
I hope he still has some come tax refund time, I plan on picking up another.
Aww Wench, firstly very cool avatar.
What if this device had an adjustable button throw?

Thank you : D
Have never tried a adjustable throw. I did have a bottom button mod though.
I think it's not so much the switch it's just placement, it's more the movement thr ring or pinky finger has to make.
Broken too many fingers a few times , I'm a clutz lol

You have great taste Wench
It's pretty unique, you can either screw down the button by simple turns to shorten the movement of the button to just a mere touch for activation or unwind it for a long press. It's like a variable button
Even though it has not been done before, it seems that it's being patented? http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...al-vapemate-precise-electronic-cigarette.html
The Ultimate shame is that you can't see the deleted posts as the PMs and thread is a completely one sided conversation. It's terrible that people can't see whats being said and members are actually getting banned from the sub!
He says
forcedfuel50 "Also i've learned that you can actually Patent shapes of products that are very unique or signify brand identity etc. That also may be a new area manufacturers move into in the future."
The funny part is that he chose NOT to go this route in respect for others that made a simple push button so much more advanced than his design

...but he is taking flack on the other forum though :) Karma is a very ugly thing when unbalanced. You will never find anything negative on his sub, as stated posts get deleted and members banned from participating. What one doesn't seem to realize he looses customers in the process.

Hrmmmm.. I may have to give your new one a try then...
I had one of the sp2's and it was kinda awkward for me to push the way the button was enclosed in the bottom (my pinky and middle finger is actually crooked from one roller skating incident ha ha)
Aww that had to hurt something fierce. Does it cause you pain to use your fingers? Seeing how the Sp2 was enclosed I can just imagine the discomfort, not on your level though :( This one will be exposed so no awkward grooves or enclosures are needed. Even with the button lock, it will cause no interference. You do have me worried though Wench. If you do plan on picking one up, (if you find it appealing) you can just demo it and if it causes you any discomfort, I'll give you a full refund with retrieval of course :p

Yes, but sadly, everything in the forum world is always forgotten. I can imagine how the other forum is doing! Knowing him he probably did have the audacity to post it over there where proudly nothing gets deleted  I was on uspto.gov and have found nothing yet. Wild thought, but could infringement be a possibility?

Isaac do not worry. He is merely trying to blow smoke up everyone's ..... Take a gander at the other thread, he did not start it but it does seem he hasn't a leg to stand on. Patent pending doesn't mean he will receive a patent. USA George brings up a very valid argument wrt patents. BTW the first bottom button commercially developed was the screwdriver, sooooo. Continue what you are doing my friend besides Chameleon II is a total re-design that doesn't even come close to what Super developed as far as buttons. If he is willing to take his Coy down the tubes over his childest mindset, let it be.

Thank you Switcher.
You know how to make this dog feel like a king with a trusted advisor.
USAGeorge's post was a big one that held the greatest attention for sure. The keyword being "IF". There are a million ways around it so there are no fears here. For talk of a patent to come up in this market is inevitable even though it Should be opensource, but capitalist are always a plenty. The pathetic part of it all is, instead of patenting his own design he's gunning for all of the bottom button activated devices that are much more advanced than what he can concoct. I know Cashmere must be rolling right now.

No worries, they actually don't hurt so much as just don't like to move certain ways and click. (yuck)
And if I can't use it by some chance, my husband can : D

Looking at the pic's the way the button is I think I can use my ring finger with no issue's and if since it's a easy throw I could probably use my other hand then ( sp2 was pretty stiff)

Wench I believe you will be able to use it with even crippled hands. It is a squeeze of the hand that activates bottom butons, not the pinky or ring finger perse. It is hard to explain, but the finger does not move.

Isaac if you take a patented product and change it, I think it's 30%, then you can apply for a new patent. You can also take 2 patented products and combine them for a new product. It takes allot of time and money to fight them patents in court. You can prove your product was in design before he ever applied for a patent.
Heres one from 1997 Push-and-turn latching control button, in particular for operating an electrical component
United States Patent 5593022
You can sit and pull up patents for switches or anything else all day.

And one of those customers was me. I was slow to warm up to an intial purchase back in July, mostly because I detected a hint of elitist attitude in the subforum and cost. I never considered my posts controversial, but I guess he did. I will say even in PMs he was nothing but respectful, even though I think he may have been slightly confused as to what he told me in previous PMs. Oh well, life moves on.

I am looking for a mechanical PV tube battery type that has a LOCKING button on the end!!! Tired of having my current PV mod scorch my atomizers and my leg. Any suggestions?
