OK, so my only experience is with Cartomizers. I know that there are 2-peice "cartridge and atomizer" parts, but haven't used them (and really don't care to mess with more complication). But, I keep hearing people talk about "clearomizers" and "tankomizers" and whatever-mizers. I took a chance on something called a "vapormizer" - its clear, has a pop-off mouth piece, a small amount of polyfill at the bottom.

Is this what a "clearomizer" is?

I used it once and it seemed OK, and then I cleaned it as I would a normal carto, but after that it would spit juice into my mouth and gurgle a lot. Is this a known flaw, or did I get a faulty one? what are the do's and don'ts on these?

Clearomizers can be applied to any clear carto Plarkinjr sir, whether it's just a clear standard carto, a ce2, ce3, ce4, list goes on. As for cleaning, polyfill clearos can be cleaned like normal cartos but it can loosen the seal on the tube thus causing all sorts of leaks. Cleaning a ce2, ce3, and ce4 is a bit different. There's alot of videos showing how to clean those, never had one work properly enough to want to clean and reuse it so can't say what method is best.
