I guess I am lucky, I have 4 b&m shops within a 15 minute drive from my house. My favorite one, which is literally around the corner from my house, is the best one. I've gotten to be very friendly with the people that work there, so I stopped in the other day just to check out the stuff they have in the cases, and I started talking to the one guy, red is what they call him. So we are talking, and I ask about mech mods and droppers, and wow, did I open up a can of worms. He started pulling all kinds of mechs out of the case, and explains everything about each one. Then he asks me if my drip tip can be removed from my tank, which I was using my protank 2, so I said yes. He grabs his turtle ship v2 clone by hcigar, loads up his dripper, and hands it to me. Holy crap, what the heck have I been doing messing with all this other stuff. The flavor was incredible, the vapor production blew my mind, and looking at the cost I am sold. Tomorrow I am buying the stainless steel turtle ship v2 clone, an igo w3, and 2 18650 batteries and a charger. Mech mods and dripping, here I come

Have fun with your new toys. I hope you found 'it'.

What you've been doing is not messing around with dripping constantly and having a leaky atty in your pocket. Dripping has its place but for me that place is extremely minimal, not while I'm working, not while I'm out and about, not while I'm laying down, not while I'm doing anything really.
I thought I found it with an Imortalizer but even it can end up leaking when rode hard, put away wet.

As far as mechs go, can't say I've found a place for them at all. I want consistency not a 1v variance. If one of my variables hit somewhere between 4.2v and 3.2v it would be in the garbage.

Plenty of people at the local are into sub-ohm drippers and mechs, it's just not for me, hope it's for you.

Dang it! We were trying to keep it a secret!

LOL...It's an eye openner for sure. Have fun, do your homework and be safe, and enjoy the new avenue of GAS.

I know where you coming from, having used a pro tank 3, always having to buy a pak of heads, and having 2 or 3 not work. I gave in bought a Igo-L RDA, had my local b&m build my 1st coil and I was in haven.
I actually build my 1st solo coil just 2 days ago, its running at 2 ohms, and I'm getting heaps of vapor and flavor. Once you go from tanks to rebuildables, you will never go back :)
oh yeah use cotton instead of silica to wick, if you need to change the wick it just a matter of pulling out the wick, and re threading a new one into the coil, and your off to the races :)

I'm a bit short on the patience end of it, but when it comes to stuff like this I have a vast background in electricity, having been an electrician for 6 years. I just recently started building my own protank 2 coils, haven't had one not work on me yet. Even wrapped a 1 ohm coil that rips like a champ on my mvp2
