I use my cup holder, may not fit like a glove but it keeps them in place and almost vertical.

Wouldn't be hard to DIY one that fit like a glove if that's what your looking for. Start with a plastic cup, soda can with the top cut out, etc. whatever fits in a standard cup holder and your mod will fit down in. Position the mod the way you want it then pour something that will set up to sold around it to fill the rest of the area(you can go with any number of things here, caulk, liquid plastic, cement, etc...although dried cement might scratch the mod. Just be sure to put something around your pv first to protect it till whatever you use sets up.

I can agree. When I'm not vapin like a dragon in the car it's usually in my front pocket of my blue jean jacket. But there's alot of times when I'm in a hurry gettin in and out of the car and it gets placed on the passenger seat. And we all know where it ends up on the first sharp turn. The dreaded floorboard. I used to have the same problem with my MP3 and my cell phone, but I velcroed those puppies to my dash. (male and female adhesive velcro strips) Velcroing a mod would just be really impractical. Like I said though,I'm not looking for a solution really, was just an idea that popped in my head.

Below is the cup holder in my car... works fine for drinks, not so much on the PVs. As for the passenger seat, works fine for box mods, but tube mods go flying. I've definitely been thinking about finding some sort of holster device that I can wedge between the seat and the center console.

The Dollar store has cheap phone holsters. You can cut off the flap and have a little pouch. I have a couple of these hot glued on my supplies tackle box. I also saw some phone/gadget holders in the auto section of walmart. A local store (Meijer) had them on clearance and I think I'll pick one up tomorrow. It has a bend-able piece of fabric covered flat steel that you can hook over the door lip, vent, etc.

These will work but it would be nice to find a better solution. I did a 8hr (each way) trip for work last week and 3hour/each way to visit family yesterday and today. It was annoying that PV's are rolling around or falling over in the cup holders. I like to change it up with flavors so I traveled with (1) GLV2 and (4) EGO bat loaded with 501 Carts.

I have a couple napkins in the cupholder which works to keep my 2 PVs from rolling and banging into each other, also helps keep them upright. Not real fancy but it works. Free from any fast-food joint - if they still provide real paper napkins instead of the cheapo one-fold.

I dropped my PV on the floor yesterday for the first time, it was nice not to worry about it burning a hole in the carpet!

I "over indulged" while visiting a buddy in Boston a couple of weeks ago and dropped my GLV2 on the sidewalk. No real damage butI was a bit bummed. Now it has a beauty mark:) Guess it payback for all of the analogs I flicked on the sidewalk in my lifetime.
