This has probably been covered before, and if so, I apologize.....but.....does anyone have a holder idea for your device(s) while you are in the car?
Obviously, I'm not talking about leaving them in the car, because that can damage them in the heat. But when you are driving, where do you put your devices? Mostly, they go in my lap, and I just don't like them there. I wish I had a place to put them, because my cup holder is not an option!

When I'm at home, and at the office, I have pen holders to hold my mods and egos, etc. But I don't know what to do with them in the car? Anyone have any creative ideas?

Does your car have an ashtray and can you rest your gear in that? I just use one of my cup holders. I think it is vehicle type dependent but you can always get a lanyard type holder and put the lanyard over the mirror.

I've seen some creative home-built car carriers - but here's an easy one, ready to go, from JWraps.

I don't think the ash tray is big enough! :) That said, I guess I've never really looked at it. I have a Tesla and a Vamo, so I'm pretty sure that wouldn't be an option. I appreciate the feedback though!

If you are not smoking anymore, the ashtray can be removed and make a much larger slot.

I put an empty water bottle in the cup holder and squeeze the Vamo in there releasing air if needed. Keeps it upright and out of the way.

My wife's Dodge Nitro has a little compartment by the steering wheel by the door that works well. I had thought of trying to find an AC vent Vase or something like that or even sewing something up to hang from the rear view.......but I am lazy :)

My truck doesn't have an ashtray so I got one of my empty medicine bottles that fits in the cupholder and holds the PV upright so I don't have to take my eyes off traffic to retrieve it. This is temporary but it'll do for now.

The J-stands have some nice stuff. Or maybe, with a little luck, I'll see something like that at a "new to me" B&M store I'll be visiting today.

Here's what I bought and it's perfect. I didn't apply it to the dash because I was afraid it might mess it up when I eventually removed it. I applied it to the right side of the steering column and it's great. The A/C vent is right behind it too providing cool air to it. It holds my Provari with room to spare in case I had something even bigger.
