Sharing some thoughts.

Recently been having to go more stealth and take a break from cloud/chasing the unobtainable, it's a slippery slope of playing GAS(gear acquisition syndrome). Started neglecting my roots that started with 1.2~ 1.8ohms.

Had to take an emergency trip with my wife in the car and the little sister. Both tolerate my bad habit, barely. So I switched to unflavored, made a batch with distilled water as dilutant, went back kinda to my roots by whipping out my TRA with an RM3 and a 1 ohm dual coil build(my roots like many of you where boge Cartos and rm2's). Had to be stealthy as my whole family doesn't really like vaping or smoking whatsoever and more people at work are starting to complain because of stupid news articles that over exaggerate everythjng.

I've come to realize being a young guy that's very brash and gets excited easily that sometimes the best things in life are the simple and dependable things in life. So Saturday morning I whipped out my TRA, gave it some love (does need to be lp'd and new SS 510, which I'll be installing soon once my hectic schedule slows down), cleaned it thoroughly. Put new heavy gauge becu plated positive, did the maintenance treatment that Russ taught us on his awesome vids, mixed a batch of 3mg 80/20 VG/distilled water. Waited for the wife to get off work and headed on the 4 hr trip through downpour and obnoxious drivers.

Great Scott how I've taken for granted the amazingness that are Reos. I recently got into the regulated nonsense and the new fangled 165+ watt technology doesn't replace the on-the-spot Fire and rock and roll that Rob has granted me for so long. It just works, pop a battery and go. I'm working 14-16 hr days and going to class. Also got some side gigs for the extra flow that a young family needs and dealing with health issues personally and with my nuclear family. I don't even have time stop and enjoy simple things like how beautiful my wife is (even though I make sure to tell her).

I got 3 charged batteries on me and I maybe cycle through 2. The TRA and an RM3 just keep up with me, so does my lp/rm8/ss510 Rob brought back from the dead, But the closest to original I've owned for 3 yrs has been awesome. From 0.35ohms to 1.2ohms, from cloud chasing to stealth vaping. From programming to building out massive computing systems, the reo is there for me so I don't smoke.

Also Rob has just been amazing! Thanks for shipping those parts out so quickly and thanks yet once again for having my trusty aluminum friend always ready to rock and roll.

My Reos keep rocking, while my stupid bread and butter computer keeps giving me sh*t. At least something's going right ^_^

Thanks Rob and Russ! End rant...

Sooooooooooooooo true! A few months ago I got some extra $ and thought I'd go back to regulated vaping with an IPV3 Li and a TFV4 tank on top. Great vape for sure, but I'm back on my TR Reo Grand. There is just something about it that I just love! I can chuck clouds if I want, or I can build for stealth with higher resistance. It's so compact and I know it can take a beating and a half. To quote Sponge Bob, it's my "Ol' reliable"! With the help of Rob, Super X, and of course Catfish Atty Mod genius Tom, I've got the vaping world in the palm of my hand! Thanks guys!

Did the same thing, picked up an IPV3-Li thinking it would get me to a new place and realized I was already there. The IPV3 Li is cool, but the ramp time in firing and really not switching wattage or using temp control, I'm really like the REO. Also after 60W its almost a bit much for me. I do it of course to try it out, but the darn fangled thing gets super-hot quick, batteries stay cool. I just don't have time to mess around and my trusty REO's always, "just work" and they do that extremely well. I mean extremely well.
