On this forum i've lurked, laughed, and loved some threads. Now I don't know where to go.

First of all, hello! Sorry I haven't come forward sooner....

So i've been vaping for a long time, 3.5+ years. I started out with a small crappy ecig they don't even sell anymore. Then I went to the makos running 3.7 and then to a silver bullet running 4.8v nimhs. I've had this thing for a LONG time. I just received some Alice in Vapeland juice and all day i've been thinking, damn this is the best juice i've ever had and i'm still running the same mod i've had for years. Don't get me wrong, I have a great sentimental value towards my SB and it's been through the ringer and still works amazing, I just feel there are better things out there that i've never dabbled in. Like rebuild-able atomizers, the "kick", vvs, etc. Yet i've stacked batteries, and done many stupid and unsafe things back when it was just getting started and had great fun (all of us vaping in this area were dumb back then, we didn't have the information or knew where to get it.) I feel like i've missed out on alot. I've looked at the Tesla, the provari, the REO, the ivape, pretty much all the mods, lol. I just don't really know where to go from here.

Should I get a new mod? Should I get some rebuildable atomizers and play with those for a bit (I would look into the formulas and safety precautions as well lol) Should I buy a extension sleeve for my SB, throw 18650 batts in there and kick it? Should I break out the makos and play with those little guys? I'm just kind of in a confusion. Another thing is whatever I get i'll have to get my GF of 4 years the same. That makes provari's a bit out of my price range. For mine alone for everything i'd want it would end up 260+.

Another thing, ecig maintenance, could someone point me in a direction where I could check out some stuff on that? One of my Makos looks like it has some corrosion within the threads and in other places. What could I do about that?

Here are the pics of what i'm running and the corrosion. Sorry for the rant and thanks for everything in advance.

Welcome to ECF!!!

Basically, the thing that makes the most difference in vaping is where the juice meets the coil. Give one of the newer clearomizers a shot. You should notice a lot more flavor over the carto tanks, especially with a bottom coil clearo.

As Wumpscut said, the classifieds often has Provaris for less than retail (I bought 2 Provaris from the classifieds). Get your post count up and get verified for access.

That's a lot of questions... Looks like you've done your homework, though, and you know what's out there. It all depends on how much you want to spend. I have my Twists and Spinners and a couple of small regulated mods (a Provari and a mini ss Sigelei Zmax). I like them all and I use them all. My problem with the ProVari is that it won't play with my eGo-threaded toppers which I like a lot--and the adapters are a PITA, so I reach mostly for my dual threaded batteries. The ProVari is used only with my 510 threaded toppers.

If I were you, I'd probably get one of the Innokin batteries (MVP and SVD are very popular) or a Sigelei Zmax. And get some new clearomizers--I like Kangers BCC lineup and my Aspire ET-S the best.

Good luck and happy vaping!

Thank you so much. I'll check out those right now and i'll check out some clearomizers. How are the protank 2s?
I'll probably end up with 2 MVPs and then save up for the provari's later down the road.
That being said, what could I do with my Makos?

I like my ProTanks--I have a mini and a PT2. Why get two MVPs, though? What if you don't like them? If you have the money, get two different batteries. Twists and Spinners are very useful, smaller than the MVP and quite inexpensive--you may like them. Or try an Innokin iTaste eGo VV battery--they are the most advanced technologically eGo-sized batteries on the market--and they are very good looking. :)

Sorry, I have no idea what Makos are...

Whatever you decide, it won't end there will it !?. So for now, just get yourself a nice shiney new Tesla. I've got one. Compared to most other mods at a similar price, which is most of them, the build quality is far more superior. Or, if the Tesla don't do it for you, have a look at the semovar. It's modular, can be a hybrid if you want it too be. Got the nivel chip inside. More expensive than a regular mod but less expensive than a Provari. So a modular device is a great idea, if a part goes wrong you could just replace it yourself. You really do need to take a look at one to see whats what.

SvoeMesto SM V3 Semovar Extended Kit - Cloud 9 Vaping

There is a spare part that turns this mod into a hybrid
SvoeMesto SM V3 "hybrid" connector - Semi-Polished - Cloud 9 Vaping

When this piece is used the mod becomes a hybrid with this vapour device.
SvoeMesto Kayfun V3.1 ES - Semi-Polished - Cloud 9 Vaping

There are plenty of people that rave about the kayfun.

I do realise this is an english site, but i'm just showing you, you can find a semovar in the usa.

That's what I am doing. Being new to vaping though. I really wanted to just get a provari...but I am on a tight budget. So I have settled on a mvp for now to get the satisfying vape and a step up from a ego v3 mega I bought about 2 months ago. By the time I save up for a provari I might want a DNA Mod though.also there some pretty cool stuff on the horizon it seems. I'm so excited for the future of vaping tech.

I love the thrashed look of your mod :D I might have to go and buy a painted mod just to get this effect!

Lol! Yeah, I really love the thing. It's unbelievable. It's been dropped out of my truck going 35-40 miles an hour, left in a 100 acre field while hunting (don't even ask me how I found it, lol!) Left there for 3-4 days while storms blew through and I got it, took it home and cleaned it up a bit, threw a new battery in it and it fired right up. Pretty impressive. I dunno, the more I think about it the more I love this mod. Lol maybe i'll just get an extension and kick it. Hell, I dunno. I saw some MVP vape vids and they throw out double the vapor clouds compared to what I do. But, I could probably do the same by kicking it or configuring some rebuildables to suit what my batteries are running at.

The Bullet is a great little mod. Just get some nice toppers with correct Ohms for your setup and you'll be fine. There are plenty of very nice tanks/tankomizers and carto tanks on the market. There is no need to throw away your battery--it's a good one. Get some Kanger ProTanks 2 or 3 or Aero and some extra coils, 128-2.4Ω should be perfect on 3.7v. Or get an Aspire BDC clearomizer. I've heard good things about the Aspire Nautilus, for example--even though it's pricey. But any 510 threaded Aspire will be fine. Try that first before you invest in an extension sleeve and a kick.

Just my :2c:

Good luck!
