After the 35 or so attys I've bought I finally found "The One"
After trying the Magma clone from fasttech I cannot put it down
and all others pale in comparison for me. Been using it solid for 3 weeks now. The vape is so smooth
compared to anything else I've tried and super flavorful. It delivers the vape moist and warm without that super harsh kick to the throat that most drippers give in sub ohm. Still a good kick but far more bearable for me.
Running dual coil .4 ohm 26 gauge micro coils wicked with cotton. Loving it so much
That I don't even care to build and test the 6 or so I've got that
are new and collecting dust.
I'm still rotating it among the many mods in my arsenal, currently on the copper nemesis and looking sweet. Guess I'll be saving loads of cash on toppers now. I'm sure this thing will be my everyday device for a long time.
What have you found that beats them all and why?
Right on brother I'm glad you found that unicorn!

I love the magma too for the amazing density/flavor, but I tend to concentrate on big vapor (the kids call it "cloud chasing"

). So naturally I ended up going with the
TOBH ATTY. After loving that for 6 months, chopping off the airflow control teeth, and widening the (already massive) airflow, I discovered the 26650 (28.5mm) version of it by Tobeco, and I haven't looked back since.
You figure with a larger chamber it'd take away from the flavor, but since I can have more juice, more airflow, hotter/bigger coils (made from Gplat to keep the ohms low), what you end up with is a 2x bigger vape! I'm a firm believe that with big vapor, comes big flavor, and that's exactly what this atty does. I attached a massive dime sized bore pyrex drip tip (which is about .5" all the way through the heat sinks), and you get an overwhelming mouthful of dense, warm vapor. I usually like a lighter flavor anyway, which is probably why I prefer 100% VG too, so I tend to like the faster heating, big airflow type RDA's. But the magma is certainly dense and flavorful, I love it for that, if they made a 26650 version, with 1/8th" airflow, I think I'd be in vape heaven.
