Just make sure they're not the pre-production models (no diffusers). Can't be too careful these days.

Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

They don't seem to understand what I am talking about when I explain what the diffuser is, but they said they are selling the standard Siren. I may call them today and ask if I have time. They have the 22 mm Sirens in their U.S. warehouse in Michigan, I think. The customer service rep said the 22 mm Sirens didn't sell well for them. It sounds like to me that was why the 22 mms are only in their U.S. warehouse?

Congrats!! Don't keep us in suspense! Tell us all about it, please!

I'm afraid I will have to keep you in suspense for a little bit. I'm busy now and popping out for a bit so I will post my detailed observations when I get back. Maybe 2 or 3 hours from now...
I have to find my last bit of 28 kanthal in the box, I've run low and it's only just been dispatched
Hopefully the builds will last till the wire arrives.

Okay, Time for the review...

I will not fire it on the mech as the resistance changed and it has a long 510 connection which would mean i would have to change the delrin and the build is too high for a mech anyway.

I am using it on the 150 at 11 watts. The same wattage on the kayfun.
The building is a little strange. It has cutouts on both posts but they are not deep enough imo. I hope that i get used to it as i become acquainted with the tank.

However, the taste is very good. Not much in it when compared to the kayfun, the vape is very nice.
I personally prefer the vape on the kayfun.
The opinion of aesthetics of the rta are subjective. Again, i prefer the kayfun.

I am glad i bought this tank, considering my first build it is so similar to the kayfun its silly.

I would recommend that every mtl vaper buy this rta. It is very good for £28.

Very very good.

Tl;dr
Highly recommended. Buy it.

I will update after a week of using this tank. It will not be buried in the box. :thumb:

Thanks for this! I'm so happy you are liking it! I think by tomorrow afternoon or evening, you'll find the flavor has ratcheted up a bit. I love my KFL+ too. It is a very good tank and it is much more attractive than the Siren. My favorite thing about the Siren is that it is so easy to get a good vape with it with nary a dry hit.

I usually use 26 ga. kanthal and it works like a dream.

Yeah. I was using the dregs of the 28. I really like 28 so I've ordered more.
I must say though, the 510 connecting pin is a bit too long I think. It's leaving a gap with the tree box and me thinks it might have trouble with the paps v4, the best mod ever imo.
Even so, it's still so worth the £28 and something to take out and about with me.

Do you get any gaps with it on your mods?

BTW, shock horror
I'm dual vaping for the first time in a long while. I've got dual 24s in a vector pushing 70 watts with a .4!!!

Sorry mtl-ers.

Ill try and forgive myself ;)

I get bad gaposis when the Siren is on the iJoy Solo Mini, but it sits flush on everything else. On the Siren thread here, I've read about others having the same problem though with some of their mods.

iStick Pico and Toptank mini , small , easy maintenence. Now the toptank is kind of made for direct lung hitters but I have a special base that allows me to limit the airflow a lot easier , idk what it's called it came with it for some reason LOL .

Kayfun is also good but its just too big a drag , O-rings , chimneys and more bs , also dropping it can .... it up big time. With the subtank / toptank rewicking / rebuilding is as easy as it gets , why would I want anything else ?

btw can someone explain to me how 0.5 ohms is different from 1.5 ohms ? ( not scietifically, performence speaking ) . To me they are the exact same , only difference being that I use lower wattage the higher the ohms, as for taste , they are all the same to me and its all great. What is do is make the coils as thick as possible without them touching the sides and it always deliveres that way, the smaller the radius of the coil , the more dryhits.

I use mechanical mods with higher builds and so resistance is more important for me.
I believe that regulated mods use their chipsets to step up/down to adjust voltage so that the wattage you have selected is attained.
The only difference i see is ramp up time and edit; all regulated devices have a voltage cap and lower builds mean less voltage is needed to heat the wire to that wattage.

So if you are using higher resistance your voltage will be too high at higher wattage and limited.

If that's wrong hopefully somebody can explain.

I've read that you can't MTL on a Goon, but I think that's baloney. If I turn down the power and open only one hole it actually does the job just fine. The OBS Engine actually works fine for this as well if turn the airflow down real small.

Just for yuks I clamped down the airflow on my Engine and you're right, the draw is pretty good as mtl. I would have to build the deck far differently if I were to keep it that way, but I can certainly see how it is possible. I'm sure the new nano with a single coil build deck is even better. There is someone in the Engine nano threads @ricks who is a mtl vaper who is thrilled with it (ricks, that's still accurate, right? if not my apologies for invoking you).

There was a guy on another thread that mentioned he was going to purchase a clone of the evl reaper and I was surprised because I also didn't know it was cloned. I also said to him, if there was a clone I doubt it would be TI, but he said it was. I never followed up on it, so I really don't know. As for the cons you mentioned, yes the full size tank is to long for sure and if it wasn't for the nano tank, I would never have bought it. As for flavor and JC, all I can say is you must have either bought a lemon or you never got the wicking down. I hate to say that because taste is so subjective . If I heard someone say they think the kayfun is better then the rose, you cannot comment on that because everyone's tastes is different, but to say the reaper has poor flavor , has to be user error or a dud tank

To be fair the muted flavor could of been from the extra long chimney, but the juice control bit I personally verified with a carry on bag full of juice, the first flight I took it on, I had it cranked all the way down and it spit juice all over the place. If I remember right it just doesn't close completely.
