Good to know, I've been using my eGo PT and charging other batteries on my hub with no issues but its running off AC not my PC so maybe it puts out enough power.

TL - The important thing about using a hub or single adapter is the maximum amps each port will support. The "experts" here claim that .5amp is not enough for passthroughs. They may work for awhile but eventually you'll have problems. And I have. Mine worked fine for the first week or so, and then they started working only part of the time and would quit for a few seconds. Now, I'm mainly using my eGo battery when I'm home, because I'm tired of the problems I've been having with the dang passthroughs.

How many amps does each of your 12 ports support?

deback: I looked at what you prefer in juice on the bottom of your posts. Apparently you add Glycerin to RY4? If so, what is it and what benefit is it? Is it PG or VG or something different? Or if anyone else knows this....

The first bottle of RY4 I received tasted mostly like caramel and I loved it. This second bottle of RY4 I received Saturday hasn't tasted much like caramel yet, but I'm hoping it will soon, as the liquid ages more.

Yes, I use Glycerin from Walmart. It comes in a 6 ounce bottle (177mL), can be found in the rubbing alcohol aisle, usually on the shelf above the rubbing alcohol, and sells for $2.99 or $3.12, depending on the real estate millage rate that your Walmart has to pay. Glycerin is the same as vegetable glycerine, which helps to create more vapor, doubles and helps to blend eliquids, decreases nicotine level, and decreases flavor (which can be a good thing sometimes). I usually add 1/3 Glycerin, 1/3 RY4, and 1/3 Apple (mixed in a separate bottle before filling cartos), but I'm planning on ordering a bottle of Caramel from FSUSA soon, because I'm not tasting that in this current bottle. I also started buying 120mL bottles from FSUSA (when the flavor is a favorite of mine), because it's cheaper that way and comes to about $10 per 30mL, instead of $15 per 30mL. But I wouldn't buy that much of a juice I hadn't tried yet.

My advice to newbies is usually 1) get a battery that will last you a day of vaping and 2) realize that atomizers and juice will be the main things you'll have to purchase once you have started vaping.

A lot of people don't realize that atomizers are something that need to be replaced and they break.

The same goes for cartomizers, when you get tired of messing around with atomizers and dripping. Cartomizers are fairly cheap (about $1.56 each) and can be easily refilled many times. I'm still using the cartos I bought almost a month ago, but I think some of those month-old cartos are about ready to be replaced, especially after I soaked them in almost-boiling water for 10 minutes (which was not a good idea...the filter shrinks and two out of 11 cartos died because of it).

Not sure how many amp's each port supports box and all documentation was tossed out long ago and power output isnt listed in the specs on newegg site. I know it puts out more power then my laptop usb port which wont power one of my external drives w/o a second plug, the hub powers it fine.

I understand what you're saying, but my experience in the last month has been that I shouldn't have bought cheap. You wouldn't believe how much money I could have saved if I had bought quality parts (and juice) from the start. I'm not using any of the parts or liquids that I started with just one month ago. And many of the new users on this forum can claim the same.

I'm thinking you're right. I'm gonna grab a 5v passthru and ac adapter from madvapes. Thinking of picking up some of the topvapor juice, too since the maple cream sounds yummy and comes in small bottles for what seems like a fairly low price. Now I just have to wait for everything to get here. My lack of patience is killing me.

Glycerine is also regarded as being sweeter than PG in most cases which can be both good and bad depending on what you're going for.

I haven't noticed much extra sweetness when adding Glycerin. However, I'm sure it depends on the percentage you mix with the other juices and how much sweetness is or isn't in the other juices.

Madvapes ships from NC, so it shouldn't take long to receive your order. I ordered mine late Friday or probably in the middle of the night early Saturday, and they sent me an email saying they shipped it today. I hope we're both satisfied with the passthroughs and adapters. I'm pretty confident, though, because the recommendations I've read were from long-time users and posters here.

The output amps could be listed on the bottom of the hub.
