One mod for all.....

Good Morning Compadres!

Is there one mod in particular that you use, everyday, all day, and do most tanks fit nicely on that mod? Only curious because I would like to start stocking up on some tanks but I just want to be sure that there would be a mod that would fit most tanks without it looking weird. Thanks!

My IPV3 Li would fit perfectly any tank I put on it.I used it for about a year without problems. Like not problems at all!

That was my old mod, now I use the Wismec DNA200. I would not recommend it for you as it has a short 510 connection and some tanks might not fit well and it does have problems.

I am seeing some new tanks pop up with the 25mm diameter which in most cases would hang over most mods being at 23mm.

Yea I wanna get 25mm tanks when they come out but dunno if I can handle it not fitting well on my mod. It should fit without overhang, but it would scratch the paint around the 510

I just got a Boreas, and I have it on an IPV D2. Looks a little top heavy, but the overhang is just a hair, if any. Looks OK, but big tanks on small mods do look kinda silly. Plus the IPV is only single cell, so only six or so hours till needing a charge or battery change.

Its all going to depend of your Definition of Looking Weird.
Most 18650 Box mods look fine with any 22mm Tank or RDA on top.
Tube Mods are a bit harder to shop for.............like Dressing Kids

I've not had a single problem fitting anything on my Wismec RX200, which is a little funny considering I have heard more than one person complain about issues with the DNA200 version (including in this very thread).

But there is no one answer. Some people think cylindrical heating elements look silly on any box. As long as it looks good and feels comfortable to you, that's the solution. I know that's not the most helpful thing but I would not want to tell you what to get and have you come back and say THAT LOOKS RIDICULOUS. Cuz I guarantee it doesn't to me.

Most tanks are 22mm but evolution is driving 25/30mm tanks to be more needy

Any dual battery mod would suit most tanks in my opinion depending on hight

I thought that was just the RX200 version. Does the DNA version use the same 510?

RX200 DNA200 has the same hardware AFAIK but different chip.

If it were a mod that I would use all day every day it would be the Vaporshark DNA200 (because I just got it in the vape mail, a 25mm tank would have overhang).

No in all seriousness it would probably be the Boxer DNA 133W with dual 18650 batteries. Form factor fits any size tank currently on the market, dual 18650 means a full charge would prob last me all day, 133W means I have enough power to vape any kind of RDA, RTA, Clearo, TC means I can choose to go automatic if my heart desires.

All day every day. I have the Mutaition X V4s, Royal hunter, Aspire Atlantis v2, Nautilus/mini, Triton, UWELL Crown, and SubTank mini. They all look great on it (black and silver version) plus with the 5 presets, it's a one button push to change the watts, etc. for each tank, which makes switching them super easy.

I've always had no problems with any sigelei and tank fitting. And since I've gotten this single 18650 90w spark I kinda retired my RX 200 to the end table. Yes battery life isn't the best but I vape usually at 40 watts or so. And the onboard USB charging is pretty fast.

Read through this thread and chuckled to myself about the 25mm tanks, my every day carry used to be a 25mm subtank on a cloupor mini 30w, yeah it was way to big for the mod but I only had to fill it once a day lol.
