Wow! I can't believe I picked up a iStick 40TC, a Nautilus Mini and a few crappy local tobacco flavoured juices a month ago today! This is a huge and rarely seen milestone for me at 46 as I smoked for most of the last 30+ years.

I fired up the vape and threw out my smokes and haven't looked back. In fact, I have had absolutely no interest in smoking at all. My wife still smokes and I am trying hard not to be "that anti-smoking guy". She is slowly embracing vaping herself but it is a work in progress.

This site has helped considerably. Thank all of you.

Without ECF I would have lots more $$$ in my bank account currently, for sure, but would still be smoking. Even after buying a ton of juice, more than a few mods and many different tanks, they will pay for themselves in a few months of vaping and not smoking.

I feel amazing and smell even better!

Cheers...

That was just a great setup you started out with and Is what I recommend for new vapers now, bypassing all the pen styles, disposables, and egos I started with. Congrats on 1 month!

I am trying hard not to be "that anti-smoking guy".

I didn't think I would become "that guy", but I have, and I'm not afraid to tell you that smell like an ashtray. I hate everything about smoking. Hate being around smokers, and especially how they smell after smoking. My daughter and her boyfriend smoke and they smell awful. They come into the house or get in my car immediately afterward and the smell turns my stomach. Daughter's boyfriend also works as a short order cook and the smell of smoke is mixed with the odor of old grease. I'll roll the car windows down even though it's cold outside just to avoid the smell.
Sometimes I think that I should just go back to smoking so my sense of smell would return to abnormal. NOT!

Congrats! Last month I had my first year without smoking since 10 years ago and I couldn't believe it. Even after a year my wife still smokes but I completely lost interest in cancer stick since I started vaping. Sometimes I turn into that "anti smoking" guy but whatever, its for her health. I believe she will eventually come around, at her own pace.

Congratulations again!

Congratulations for making it a month!

I think it's ok to be "that guy." Cigarettes do stink. Most of us were once the "other guy" and we did stink. No wonder people were frustrated to be around us.

Fantastic milestone Bre. Keep up the great job and remember everyone is here to help when you are having troubles. As for your wife , hmm, well some people just do not take to vaping. I have been vaping almost two years and yet my husband still smokes. Stubborn bugger he is. Congrats again.
Thx.

The beauty is that I have had absolutely zero interest/urge for a smoke since the day I picked up my first mod. :)

Congrats on your smoke-free month.

I would like to tell you that "the first month is the hardest" and other such rot, but it wasn't...not for me, or my wife. We both smoked for more than 20 years, and both quit the day I bought our first vaping gear...that was almost 9 months ago.

The gear you're using is similar to my wife's first "good" rig (after a couple of evod style tanks with ego-twist style batteries failed on her). She's got a 20 watt iStick and a Nautilus Mini, and still uses it every day. Now, our home office looks like we've set up a very small vape shop...and I don't regret spending one dime of the money on this stuff, or one minute of the time involved in learning it all.

Hope you have similar success, going forward.
