I stopped smoking on July, Friday the 13th, the day my 901 starter kit came in the mail. Former pad smoker(or more) for 37yrs. Since then not a single cigarette and have just kept learning (and buying) more... I suppose it never stops. I was making my own juice by the second week and now have about a 2yr supply of 100mg nic stored in my garage freezer. Upgraded to an ego twist with a dct and switched to boges and punching my cartos. Got me a phiniac regular tank /w some frosted aliens for that naughty banana juice that ate up one of my smoktech polycarbonates. Also, picked up some 3-hole dripping atomizers and got hooked bad on dripping... yummy. So I mostly just use the tanks at work where they come in handy doing the 12hr shift grind.
Interesting sidenote, I work a blue-collar factory-type job and I've made at least 7 converts to vaping in the last month. Two were a couple mates that I spent my 'smoke breaks' with and they've turned into pretty hardcore vapers. One got him an ego twist with a tank and the other bought my 901's for his wife but comandeered one for himself and it wasn't a week before he had it all decked out with a 510 adapter and a clearomizers. Quite a few females have gone with ego starter kits because they like the looks of that shorter 650 battery and hey, it comes in pink.
Just last night I had two more guys wanted me to show them my setup and where/what parts to purchase. TBH, it's almost becoming a bit much. between all the talking and advising I really had to rush to get my work caught up the last couple hrs of my shift. But it's worth it to sock it to big tobacco.
Just wanted to update you mates and thank you for the warm welcome I received when I first popped in here. Also a few 'shout outs'... John C and Rader2146, thanks for getting me straight on the ohm/volt/wattage puzzle. A hat tip to Kurt for some great info on nic storage, also thank you Cyrus Vap for a very entertaining and informative thread in nic comparisons. I feel I've learned quite a bit in a very short time and it's mostly due to the members of this forum. Still plenty to learn about diy and equipment so that's it for now... I should be reading up.
