I just bought an M401 and am charging it for the 1st time. The instructions say to charge for 8 hrs and that the light will change from red to green once fully charged. From the time I plugged mine in about 5 hrs ago, the light has been changing back and forth from green to red. It seems to stay on green longer than red. Is that what the charger is supposed to do?
Thanks...

In general the chargers are pretty crap. Charge for the initial 8 and then just do a 4 hour charge after that. Some people have said that initial 8 isn't required but unless you're desperate why not.

I have 7 of the chargers, all different types, and exactly 2 have somewhat reliable lights.

The only other thing to remember with the 401 is that the atomizer improves with a bit of time. Sometimes it only takes a few hours to break it in and others can requires a few days, but once they are broken in, they give excellent vapor..particularly when the battery is fully charged.

I had read that somewhere on this forum. Now I understand what it means. I'll be patient. I've heard it also takes time to change your smoking technique. Thanks for the advice.

Like anything that involves well-versed habits, you will strugle to find your "right way" of doing things.
Think of EVERY motion you do when you want an analog...right from reaching for the pack until the final puff...then realize what you do to vape...half the steps (at the time) but a bit more "homework" before bed.

It's all in the mind people! IN THE MIND!!!:)

I agree, I get variable lights with chargers for all models (supermini, DSE901 and DSE-801) for both wall chargers and usb chargers. I have tried at least 30, and about a 1/3 work as they should. They really need to be improved by the manufacturers.
