Success: My Plume Veil clone arrived yesterday and did the first build on it tonight. Easy, 28 ga., 9 wraps .8 ohms on the head. Gonna try it out after dinner and see how it goes.

WTHWYT: Also got a Fogger V4.1....an absolute nightmare...tedious, having to use 30ga, trying to wrap two coils on those posts with my ginormous fingers...finally got it somewhat right and then it leaked....all over the counter. It now sits in the drawer as a reminder not to be cheap next time. If you love yours, I salute you as you must have the patience of Job.....or tiny fingers!!!!!

Heh, there's a fogger v4 headed my way... let's hope I feel a little differently about it! I do know it can be a cruel mistress. What did you use for the wick, out of curiosity?

Cotton Bacon...just like I use in the Kayfun with great success.

It could have been too much/little cotton. I got just little tail in the juice channel just like in the video. Heck with all the wires and snipping, there's no telling.

Also, about 5 minutes after I hit the "pay" button, I saw the version 5 on Origin Vape web site, Still just the two posts...but with holes for the wires,

I've heard of the cotton bacon, but haven't taken the time to look into it. We'll see if my minimal rayon skills are transferable to using the fogger...

I did order mine knowing the v5 was out, but Tbev was so influential in getting me interested in the v4, I couldn't skip over it. I also know the fogger family is fully of duds (namely v1 through v3), I figured I'd go for the tried and true.

Anyway, maybe you'll get a wild hair sometime and give the v4 another shot! Hopefully when the time comes, it'll be more forgiving.

Do a single coil---easier to manage, less leakage and doesn't eat juice nearly as fast....

Some of them require a set of watchmakers tools and the steady hands of a surgeon.

They look so big on YouTube on my big flat screen. :)

Definitely agree with this one. I'm still surprised at how small everything can be. Not that it's a bad thing, just takes some getting used to.

I use my fogger v4.1 w a single coil. right now its 24 ga kanthal, 8 large diameter wraps at 1.2 ohm on a mech. i drilled the airholes for nice clouds. the airflow was very tight and it still leaked if i layed it down. so i figured if it leaks already why not drill it. I love how it performs now and I just leave it on a mech in a stand so it never lays down. another tip. when you fill your fogger 4.1 twist a tissue and plug up the drip tip end. otherwise juice will come through the tip onto the floor as youre filling it up.

I had the same problem! Watched countless rebuilding videos on YouTube but when the dripper and Kayfuns came in they were *so small* and I had a devil of a time building them. I ended up buying a jewelers magnifying visor with an LED light on it that another forum member recommended. I may look goofy but at least I can see what I'm doing! :)
