One week, no ciggies. Woohoo!

Hi there, new member from the UK here. Been lurking for a few days now.
So I've been smoking cigarettes since 17 years old (now 36) when I had my venture into MJ. That stayed 'till around the age of 24 or 25 when I ditched the green altogether but held on to my 15-20 roll ups per day (golden virginia).
Always told myself & others that the day I realised that I had a smokers cough would be the day I quit.

Soo.... I realised about 2 years ago that I had a smokers cough (no idea how long the denial before that was though!).
Never ever attempted to quit roll ups, not even for a day.

Then, just over a week ago I received my 1st vaping kit.
I'd ordered a Jacvapour V1P PCC, spare battery, carts & 'Virgin tobacco' (viginia) juice.

I put my baccy tin in my drawer at home & had a few pulls on my new vaping kit, with the idea that I'd wean myself off the ciggies.

Well, just over a week later & I never did pull that tin out of that drawer.

The vaping kit is doing me just fine. Who needs stinky tobacco?!

Without much research I ordered my juice & the taste is nice & sweet but I'd like a bit more vapour (hardly any on the exhale compared to the pre filled carts I recieved).
Seems that's because I only got PG liquid, I've now ordered some VG of the same flavour to mix it up a bit.

My cough is almost gone in the mornings which is great & no matter how long I vape for I'll never go back to analogues.

It's a good job I got a spare battery for the kit as these batteries seem to last me around half a day each.
My refilled carts are also lasting about a day.

I'm quite happy with the short charge, refilling carts cycle as when I do decide to hang up vaping the (not really that much) hassle can be factored in.

Sorry for the long post. Time just ran away with me. :D

Congratulations on quitting

I have a little over a week without analogs and fully embraced the wonderful vaping world. On the plus side I've save a little $$ not feeding my pack-a-day habit, however the other side of the coin is that it'll probably take me at least 3 months to break even from what I've spent this past week...

I have gone a little overboard in my exuberance, it's all good, :)

Congrats:toast: I went from 250.00 a month in Cigs,to 50.00,in juice and supplies. Once you see the savings, you will never go back. Once you feel how good you feel, you will never go back. I have been quit for 19 months and am not going back. Should you smoke, just tell yourself what your saving, health and money. I smoked for 35 years. Cheers to you and good luck:thumbs:

Congratulations! 21 days for me and loving it! Just wait til you try different flavors other than tobacco. If your like mosts noobs, myself included, your up front costs will be a lot more than analogs, but that should taper off once you find your favorite set-up and flavors. The advice and info will prove to be invaluable.

Continued success!

Congradulations!!!
I went from spending $75 a month for pipe tobacco and about $400 a year on pipes and accessories to spending $1400 in two months switching to the e-pipe(s). I mostly DIY my own juice, so I should have it all paid off by the summer of 2014, if I don't count the savings on staying healthy.
