OK, we all have had to deal with products that don't or won't work like the should or how they are promoted!? Right! So I purchased some product from Vapor Phoenix this particular product they sell they say has no warranty. It's not the first time I've seen this so we have to take risks sometimes. But what happens when you purchase Six of the same product and every single one of this particular product fails to work? What do you do?

What Do You Do?

I contacted Vapor Phoenix with my problem. They had me go through a number of procedures to make these items work saying "they need time to work it out to season", that "They will work great" after I go through all these steps & procedures!

Well, weeks have gone by and not a single one works like they said they would? Besides the time involved, loss of eliquid and the mess I get no explanation as to why all six items wont work? I could see 1 or even 2 not working but come on all 6? And now, no more help with them? I've been given the old BBO Business Brush Off which is refer to the warranty return policy. Wait hold the horses we are talking about Six (6) of the same item all in one order Not a single one works correctly! Does this not mean something? Does this not at least warrant looking into it more or are they not concerned that they are Not working?

I have the feeling that just might be it they aren't concerned, why? They know exactly what they have and it just may be easier for them to refer to their warranty & return policy then actually dealing with them.

Why do I say this? Well, partially from what has been posted here The Ocelot fills us in on these items.

Please give me your thoughts? What do you think! What would you do in this situation? What do you think should be done under the circumstances?

Any and all comments please!

Vapor Phoenix is offering 20% off on my next purchase & free shipping. But honestly I'm not happy with the way they handled this why would/should I drop another $190 dollars with em?

Thanks

If the vendor states upfront there is no warranty on a product and knowing that I still decide to purchase it I accept the fact that if it doesnt work I'm not going to be able to return the product and get my money back or have the product replaced with another. Just because I purchase more then one doesn't change the policy, it just means that if the product doesn't work I will have more to loose then if I'd purchased just one of something that doesn't work.

I always read the warranty policy on anything I'm purchasing so I know what to expect if something goes wrong and if I'm not willing to take a risk if their policy if no warranty then I don't purchase from that vendor.

I'd just chalk it up to 'lesson learned' and never 1) order from that company again and 2) never order in bulk something you dont know actually works! If something says 'no warranty' that means there's 'no warranty' -- that may be a hint that you can expect probs down the line... :(
:thumb: This pretty much sums up my thoughts.

The devices that are on topic obviously were a different idea that didn't work out in practice. They probably should be pulled from the market as I've seen multiple complaints about them here. That the vendor continues to sell them says something about the vendor; draw your own conclusions from that.

Hey All: Thanks for the replies! Yeah, I guess that is one way of looking at it just chalk it up! But, I failed to point out that 3 of these items were part of Tanks I purchased from them! The other 3 where purchased as replacements so it wasn't so much a bulk order. The thing that really got to me is that Vapor Phoenix replied to me that these Vape Great that with a little work that they will work! So following their instructions and I did everything they asked me to do I still could not get a single one to work as they were intended!

I really thought that with so many failing to work they would be more interested in finding out why? But as Baditude points out it's not the first time they have been on topic here in these forums!

Learning something here you betcha! Even though the Tanks were recommended for the purpose I intended Volatile eLiquids I did not check to see if what came with them was recommended as well! So, I guess some fault lies on me. But it is pretty obvious there is a definite problem with them! It's not like this are priced in a way it will break the bank its more the Principle here!

It's just a shame I'm Happy with all the other product I purchased from them! But with the experience with them on these items well they had their chance not another dime with Vapor Phoenix yet alone another $190 and all over a $1.99 product! Sorry, I just don't get it?

But I would like to hear if anyone else is having a problem with these? I'm considering an experiment to see what happens inside of them? Like drag out the Dremel cut off the sleeve glue a proper size clear tube over them and see what happens inside? Cause I can't figure out why after all the breaking in and seasoning they wont work?????

If this is a continuation of your original post, first understand this.
All cartos are different and buying any that do not fit your need is not the dealers fault. No dealer I know of will take anything like them back for hygenic reasons unless DOA(dead not used)
There are hundreds of differing e-liquid viscosity and you need the right slot/punch configuration to work with what you are using.
Slotted are good for Thick juices that have wicking issues. Flooding is a sign of thin juice over wicking and probably should be used in a single punch carto.
Wash these out with hot water and put them away for down the road when you may try that recommended but oh so thick(Boba's maybe) e-liquid.
Why do people buy the wrong stuff, not read warranties or policies and then rip into the vender for their own bad choices?
Now, if you bought a Mod and it was DOA but could not get help, then I'd understand.

ETA - If these are XL length tanks I'd suggest getting a few Boge LR Pre-punched cartos to test out. They have 2x1mm holes. Smok cartos also will fit.

The only vendor I know of, that gives no questions asked refunds on Juice; is Johnson Creek Smoke. Refunds for blank cartos & clearos are unheard of. Volcano may be the exception to this.
They have an across the board no refund policy. But their warranty and service policies are exceptional. Had an issue with ordering the wrong charger.
They paid for return shipping & gave me equal value in points.
I believe they will do the same with all of their products.
Volcano has its faults, just like any vendor. But they are very aggressive in getting repeat business & referrals.
They're coffee is also delicious.

I agree with most of the posts already made.

1) Never buy more than one of an item until you know how it will perform.

2) Make sure you know and understand the return policy and agree to it before you make a purchase.

As for it not meeting the vendors claims that it vapes great- well, I'm sure it does for some people. That's why there are thousands of items available for us. If there was one item that vaped better than every other item on the market, then all vendors would only sell that one product. I have bought plenty of products that claimed to be great vapes but they were not for me. I chalked them up to learning experiences.

Hey crxess: Well, you are partially right!? My Need was the Poly Tanks! I purchased on a recommendation from Ocelot for my Volatile eLiquid. The Poly Tanks are Great! Yes, there is a Major Problem/Defect with what comes inside of them! I want to clear something up I was wrong about warranty its no Returns! I'm sorry!

There were no Hygienic reasons or DOA's the ones I received just don't/won't work??? Since I was having such a problem with them all! I followed all Vapor Phoenix instructions on top of that I tried all the major every day eJuice I use which includes Boba's & Gorilla to No avail! Various VG PG combinations! So your suggestion on that does me no good? But Thanks!

Why do people Rip into a Vendor? I wouldn't say I'm Ripping into Vapor Phoenix but other then posting all their email responses here I can at least give a little of what I was told! These "Vape Great" "with a bit of time they will work themselves out" "They need to be seasoned!" It's more letting the Forum know of the obvious lack of real concern for the customer selling goods that have obvious problems or defects!

Fortunately I had purchased some other non Poly Tanks from another vendor so I had a few Boge F16 and Smoktech Prepunched that came with to enjoy what the Tanks were really made for!

This Posting is to share my experience with obviously bad or poorly made product and the way the vendor Vapor Phoenix is handling it! And for those that would like to share theirs! If you want more info on the Questionable Product I would recommend reading Ocelot's Post here! I wish I would have seen it before I ordered but....!?

If you have read her post or for that matter Baditude's in this posting you'll see that there have been others having the same frustrating problems! I believe Vapor Phoenix is fully aware of the defects of the product they are selling! To Me the bigger problem is how they are dealing with it No Returns Or Not! I believe that's part of what this Forum is about to Help inform others! Am I wrong?

Maybe I'm different then some? Sure I know its just a $1.99 item but its Not the Cost its the Principle! If they can't honestly deal with me with a $1.99 item what happens when there is a problem with the $99.00 dollar item? Maybe this will help you understand?

Why do people buy wrong stuff? Well, I did not know there was a previous problem with them. The no returns was expressed only on the replacements. I posted about them about near a month ago with my problems and Ocelot got me Schooled right quick! That's a long time to deal with Vendor and a problem with no positive result!

Another thing that is so great about this forum the people and their knowledge! I hope I'm giving back at least a little of what I've gained from being here! Hence my new badge at the side under my avatar! I truly appreciate this forum and the folks in it!

3rd related post, that's right Ocelot, the previous one got burried in a specific forum but if not for more posts in the General forum about things I would have not known of your experience with Vapor Phoenix! I should private message you what they had to say about your encounter with them?

Just My 13cents as always!
