Did great all day and even fell asleap without a cig. But I woke upat 2:30 in the morning and had a smoke before falling back to sleep.

I still feel the need especially after a meal. I just all of a sudden know I need something...and my mind turns to a cigarette. Thats when I start vaping away for a bit and it does go away. Keep in mind, if it doesnt kill the craving you can go ahead and smoke one, but just try anyway. It doesnt hurt to try and more often than not, it will end up satisfying the need to smoke. Good luck, and congratulations!

Welcome and big CONGRATULATIONS!!!

This is a HUGE achievement, so be proud. Like others have said, don't beat yourself up if you need to smoke. Some totally quit the 1st day they start vaping, but most don't and need awhile.

Either way, every time you vape is one less cigarette that you smoked, and that's good.

Be sure to let us know how you are doing with the whole vaping experience. We are a pretty friendly bunch around here, so pop in if you have a question or just want to talk. :)

yes if its your desire or intention to quit this is the way to go. Like the previous poster, I had no intentions of becomming a non smoker. I am just a tech/gadjet junkie and wanted to see what this was about. I have had 2 cigs in 3 months. (both during the first month). It is easy and relaxing way to stop. There is little to no stress especially with Steve actually having a desire to help people with this issue and not being an emotionless businessman. Sometimes people forget the real reason behind v4L and ecigs in general, which is to help people overcome a powerful addiction in a stress-free, easy and comfortable way.

Great!!!!

I'll tell ya......I was a smoker for more than half my life. First one was when I was 10...But I didn't start the "everyday" habit til I was 15. I'm 33 now (and was up to 50-55 smokes a day), but I "seperated" from the cigarettes is September. Through the first half of October I really thought about cigarettes......really thought about them. Craved them. Urned for them. They were comfortable. A long time friend. Even smoked a pack.......and felt like I betrayed myself, family, and friends. Not because I was doing something wrong, but because I knew I had found a great alternative to them. A new friend!!! My E-Cig!! And now........Not one cigarette....not even the thought of one since mid October. Awsome!

Stick with it........you'll not regret it!!!
