I've not used a KF but my Kayfun-esque Lemo RTA puts my BVC equipped nautilus tanks to shame. I prefer to vape at higher watts with lots of airflow. The Lemo gives me that ability. I've got two more Lemos on the way and my BVC'd tanks will play an emergency/backup role. Don't get me wrong, I am a huge proponent of the BVC heads (as a lot of my past posts will confirm) but in no way can they compete with the Lemo in terms of performance. The added benefit of not dropping $2/each for replacement heads is also nice.

If "you" like BVC I say use it, but check out the build quality..... Have heard MANY voice health concerns on them, several here on ECF. Personally, I tried the BVC and BDC Aspire products and sold them off. Thought of them as over-hyped products, Still prefer my Kayfun's and converted to bottom feed drippers..... more vapor, flavor, and hit. Most of the flavor and hit I got from the Aspire stuff was only due to unvaporized juice getting into my mouth.

I'm happy with my Rbas. Wire and wick is super cheap and with my coils I get a great vape, no complaints. Just wouldn't see the need to buy a pre made coil. I don't have any issues with leaking gurgling or anything like that so no reason to buy a premade. I'm completely happy with what I got going on!! It's all about flavor for me and my Rbas give me outrageous flavor so why would I mess with a premade coil? Out of curiosity I have tried the nautilus to see what the hype was about and to me,honestly, in my opinion, the flavor was muted and just didn't stand up to a rbas flavor. I say whatever makes you happy is great, but for me, I wouldn't trade my Rbas in for the bvc coil. A well built rba will give you plenty of rich thick vapor, and wonderful intense flavor. No need to buy any thing else. And wick and wire are cheap so I'm actually saving a little money too! But like I said, what ever makes you happy is great and for each his own. My vote goes to the rba.

I rebuild all of my coils.

What are these health concerns?

Yes I said it

So prior to the BVC I built up a collection of Kayfuns, Russians, Taifuns and all kind of clones in between and vaped nothing but this for 4-5months and now after using nothing but the new BVC coils for the past month for a fair comparison going back to the Kayfuns no doubt about it not debatable I personally get better vapor and flavor from the BVC coils.

Curious to see how many others agree / disagree

Three authentic Kayfuns, two Russians, Mega all sitting idle since I started using the BVC coils. Prior to that I rarely used my Nautilus. I'm now using two full sized and two minis in rotation.
These coils have been a game changer for me. My provari's and these coils have made vaping simple and reliable.
I know some have had issues but in 2 months I have only trashed one coil and that was early on before I realized that it was user error by over tightening the base to the tank.
That's my 2cents.

Yeah, my friend tried my Nautilus the other day and was like, "Wow, if I knew I could have had the convenience of easily-replaceable heads + this kind of flavor/vapor production from a tank, I would not have bought my Kayfun"

That said, I might buy a Kayfun myself just because I really like how they look, and the beauty kits and options and stuff look really neat.

it's really all about the coil you make and the device you put it on. knowing your desired wattage should effect the build you go after

the pre-made coils may be superior to the coils you may have made in your kayfun/taifun, but I'd take the Pepsi challenge any day

I agree. I have been building coils for a long time and I'm very aware of the voltage that I need to fire on my RBAs. I only use Japanese cotton on my builds as well. Not having to re wick every 3rd or 4th day is great for my lifestyle. Additionally I have yet to my juice change color with the BVC coils.

Try one you may be shocked at the results.

Call me lazy. Why fiddle when I chill and vape.

Yes, started with the BVC in my regular Nautilus Aspire 5 mL tank and am speechless. I have even sold all of my mechs and drippers due to the quality of vape that I get from this. The BDC's seemed to only last me a couple of days, being a chain vaper... while I have been using this current BVC for about a week now. I am definately impressed. Also, putting it up to 22W on my Cana Mod, i haven't had a dry hit yet. Definately an improvement over it's predecessor.

If they are better than a kayfun that's great. I'll stick with one authentic kayfun, two ehpro's, and two tobeco minis. They all perform really well with little hassle and cost next to nothing to build. The biggest factor for me is buying pre-made coils. When it comes to "quality control" I'm more confident in building my own.
