Oops...water and an ego

I was soaking a tank in some water. The problem is that I was soaking the tank in the cup I usually put my egos in. So....I put my ego batteries (2 of them) in about 1 inch of water. The batteries still fire. Since its a closed battery I cannot see inside, do you think I have to worry about this affecting them in the long term? They still fire atm. Thanks!

Try putting the batts in a bag of rice for a day or so to wick all the moisture out of the batteries.

My Ego C twist took a swim in the lake last weekend & seems to be working fine all week. I think they'll be ok. The rice suggestion is a good one to eliminate any moisture that may have seeped in
