personally, i prefer the aw lifepo4 batteries in the v2. only seen them @ lighthound. lower rated mah than the tenergy but definitely perform better, longer and stronger.

for a nice unknown, but definitely higher voltage vape, try two soshine 3.7v rcr16340a batteries. i use them with an hv510 atty to keep the v2 as small as possible when out and about, but very, very nice vaping in my opinion. rated @750 mah, don't know if that's accurate, but again, much stronger performers than the tenergy batts. dx has them, but can be bought for about the same price with faster and free shipping if you do a google shopping search.

It would be great if someone at PS would post a Sticky with the SAFE combos and brands that work in the V2 other than what come in the full kit. It will save a lot of people getting headaches and wasting money on stuff that doesnt fit, imo

JD - We only *recommend* batteries that come with each unit. If you decide to try batteries that we don't carry or personally use, that's up to you bud

The 900mah's don't fit or they're reeeeeeeally tight.

I got 4 or 5 hours of steady vaping out of the 750's or 7 or 8 normal.
Depends on the day I'm having ...

Never really paid attention. Maybe 2 - 2½ hrs...

I have multiple PV's and batts so it's not a big deal....

*edit* I don't know if I actually ever "Run them all the way down".
I just pop in a new set when I get to the house cause I know they'll be done before I retire for the evening. I don't like charging when I sleep. I probably wouldn't wake up to a fire

I think mine take more like 3-1/2 hours maybe, but the time is a bit shorter now than when they were brand new. Could be closer to 3 now - not quite sure.

Yes, I have them (red, black and gray) and they will work. I never used mine for even a whole charge cycle, though, because I'm too spoiled on HV. I really wanted to like the V1 at 3.7, but...
