On Vapor Joe's site today this came up and I'm wondering if this is a decent mod. I've been vaping for about 2.5 years, make my own juice and rebuild attys. Currently I'm using a Vamo 2 mostly and am thinking that possibly it's time to go to a mech mod and see how I like them. For the price I don't think it's a big monetary risk, just wondering if this is a good place to start. Any advice is appreciated.

Solid mech. Surprisingly well built, the coating on it is anodized (or appears to be) and is durable. Threading is excellent for a Chinese mech, both 510 and ego threads are smooth.

Battery tube threading is also good, although it needs a little dab of noalox to stop the squeaking. I love the fact it is small form and can use anything from an 18350 to an 18490 / 500 thru 18650.

I also love the reverse thread lockout on the bottom fire button.

Bottom firing button is stiff at first and does loosen up over time - but not so much that you can't set it down without it firing.

My only advice would be to thrown the carto that it comes with in the trash - the batting has a horrible taste.

Apart from that, you just can't go wrong for price and value on this mod, I use mine a lot.
