My boyfriend has FINALLY made the decision to really try vaping. In an effort to make it as simple as possible for him, I am not buying online but at my local fave vape shop (he is not a computer guy by any means). My local vape shop keeps it simple and only carries Innokin and Aspire. I am looking for a lasting-all-day, sturdy (he works as a mason), MTL (not subohm) vape mod that he could stuff in his pocket and it wouldn't fire off, so something that requires a simple way to shut off (he needs glasses to read so either it has to be a simple button sequence or an easy-to-read LED screen). He doesn't care it is on the big side, but it needs to last an 8 hour workday, since he will not have the luxury of charging it while on the job; preferably something that charges via USB. I also would prefer he gets a top fill tank.
So anyone out there that works in tough conditions and has some input, I would love to hear from you!

I am an oilfield worker and I have found Provari 2.5 to be toughest mod you will come across. You might have missed the boat on the Provape Special as to getting one for $20 but I would keep checking. Top a 2.5 or a provari classic with a Nautilus tank and I would say thats the easiest/cheapest most dependable set-up you can get :vapor:

I work in a clay tile factory and my Innokin SVD 2.0 is by far the most durable mod I have. I don't use it much anymore because it only fires to 20W and I've gone passed that since I bought it. But I do still occasionally use it with my Nautilus and K3 tanks. It takes a removable 18650 battery so something like the LG HG2 or Samsung 30Q should get him 8 hours of usage.

However the display is kind of small and it doesn't support on-board charging, but I still recommend looking into it.

This should tick all boxes if he would be ok at a constant 14 watts ( no vw ). As easy as it gets, top fill, easy coil replacement, 2000 mah built in ( charges via usb ). No lED screen, easy on off switch etc ....

Endura T22 Vape mod - Innokin

I have one of these and I love it. I will grab him one of these, seems to be the simplest one for him, and luckily the vape shop sells these!

Vapor Beast has the T18 1.5ohm coils, 5/pack for $7.95, and free S/H with $35 purchase. So 5 packs of coils with FREE S/H = $39.75. Enough for both of you for awhile, if 1.5ohm would work for you both. They also carry the T22, but only have them in 2.0ohms now. Beats MFS price of $9.95/5 pack + S/H.

Innokin T18 Tank Coil - 5 pack | Tanks & Accessories | VaporBeast

VB also has a long-running coupon code for 10% off, for 1st time customers. I used it not too long ago, and it was still active. It's YEAHBABY. Would bring total for coils down to $35.78 for 5 boxes with FREE S/H.

I put together a nice rig for him; I am using the Innokin T22 tank on a 75watt Sigelei. Since he and I are both former smokers, I knew that the tight draw and exceptional flavor of the Endura tank would work perfectly for him; it's my favorite tank. I also swapped out the Endura T22 battery for my longer lasting Sigelei, which can also be charged via USB. I hope that he sticks with it; even cutting the actual smoking down by half would be awesome. Once I notice that he sticking with it, I will spring for his own rig...

Giving this further thought, I like the idea of a side by side mod. Most mods are durable, the 510 connector and glass tank are not. I'd pop that in a mod holster from Amazon along with a portable charger. I'd also carry a full spare tank to swap out instead of refilling. As a former Mason myself, my hands were always dirty and these things would work.
