Hi all

I just ordered a Tornado from TW a couple of days ago. People seem to really rave about it. Just wondering what anyone else thinks about it. Is it a great buy? How's the vapor production? How's the TH? I was also curious if the Tornado is the same as the Ego? I also wanted to know what some of the mods owners are using to enhance the product. Any help/opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I love the tornado. I've been using the 510 for almost 4 months and I got the tornado a few weeks ago with an adaptor to go with my 510 stuff. It seems to give me a little bit more TH and vapor but the big plus is that it last me about 10-12 hrs compared to the regular 510 batteries that last me about 2 hrs.

Hi, there are a lot of videos on youtube with people vaping tornados and egos, so you might check that.
BTW, the battery used by tornado should be a 10440, so I am going to build my own. In the battery mod forum there is a sticky, the "laser pointer mod" of cisco, that is essentially a tornado that costs a fraction of it and makes the same vapour...

IF you can afford the price, and you smoke more than a half a pack/day, it's the best starting kit you can get, imho. Instant heavy vapor, easy draw, simple to use, best atty in existence and battery life that obviates the need for a mega, PCC and passthrough.

If you have the 510 starter kit, one of the best upgrades you can get is a tornado/ego batt, a cone and a usb charger for it. 2 batts if you can afford it.

The Tornado/eGo doesn't use a 10440. It uses a 130450.

XDudeX, I think you'll be very pleased with you Tornado. I got an eGo (same as the Tornado) and it is a brilliant little device. Great vapor and throat hit. Plush I think the device is super sleek. I've been dripping VG and it vapes like mad. I haven't been getting quite the battery life that others have, but that's becuase the device rarely leaves my hand in the evening. It's a good thing the XL batteries are due out this month! :D

I've had my Tornado for about three weeks now. I pretty much use it as a pacifier as work and get 6 or 7 hours out of one battery. Have a computer in my car so I just bought the USB charger with it and I have no problems keeping a fresh battery handy.

Vapor production is pretty good and throat hit is defiantly where I want it to be. And all my 510 stuff works with it too. That's a definite plus.

I think you will be more than pleased with your purchase.

i have the tornado, and the batteries don't last as long as they do for others. this is because i have turned into the worst hungry, greedy vaper! it's madness, truly. while i have thus far been very happy with the tornado, and can find no complaints, i feel it's time for me to move onto a higher voltage mod. or... as i've been advised by some great people here, to get some LR atties, of which i'm having great trouble finding.
enjoy your tornado, it really is a great little unit. :)
