I'm planning to order a vv/vw mod this weekend and I'm torn between these. Prices are nearly identical and within the range I'm looking to spend. Both seem to get good reviews and their vv/vw feature sets appear very similar. I like the battery flexibility of the Vamo, but prefer the look of the MVP2. I'm leaning toward the Vamo based mostly on the ability to use different sizes of replaceable batteries.

Are there any differences in the chipsets that could sway me one way or the other? Any quirks, benefits, issues with either that could break or seal the deal on either? Compatibility issues with clearomizers? Anything I'm missing?

Thanks!

I just ordered a MVP v2.0 last night. I have two mechanical mods, so I was trying to steer away from a cyclinder type device. I like that the MVP has a longer battery life, rather than having to charge up your 18650 or 18350 batteries. You can also use the MVP while charging which is nice rather than having to keep spare battieres charged when the other is charging. MVP 2 also has an ohm reader, I'm not sure if the Vamo v3 has. MVP can also charge other devices off of MVP, which is a good last resort to charge up your phone or something if you aren't by an outlet. As far as clearmoizers, I think both devices will work with just about anything 510 or ego threaded.

Maybe someone with a Vamo will chime in. But, which ever you choose both seem to have a lot of positive reviews and a lot of backing on ECF

I have an MVP (not the 2.0 though)

I just ordered a SS V3, 2 of the 3400mAH Panasonics, and the 4 battery Nitecore (because I'm sure I'll end up with more batteries and another APV at some point) from FT at 2:30 this morning.

Not sure what's different about the 2.0 besides adding ohm check and VW, but I've grown bored with my MVP and want to try something completely different.

Having a 3400 battery *and* entire spare 3400 battery rather than only 2400 (or is it 2600) for the MVP, makes me a lot less worried about managing to drain my MVP and have to find a power source to recharge.

Just my 2 cents.

There both cool mods. I have the Vamo V3 SS and it's been a good addition to my growing collection. The only advantages that the Vamo has would be the higher voltage/wattage (6/15) and the size. It's pretty huge/tall in 18650 mode but when you use the 18350, it's perfect for a short while. It really depends what you want to do with it. The MVP is pretty big. It's not the most portable device on the block and it's also a little on the heavy side. Me personally, I'd love to have both.
