I've been using Vamos, but just got the iTaste SVD in the mail and it feels like it's made of aluminum, it feels flimsy and it came with plastic tanks euughh.

I bought it on EBay, so seeing people say its solid, maybe i got ripped off as it's very thin metal, supposed to be stainless steel!

I have to figure how to use all the attachments, it's in the box and i am happily using the vamo which feels so much more solid.

Should have got a ProVari and be done with it.

The SVD is made of stainless steel and should feel identical in weight (SVD-4.44ozs, Vamo-4.33ozs) unless someone on eBay is selling knock offs.
The kits I've seen offered come w/iClear 30's which are plastic tanks.

Yeah, I don't think ANYONE ships out with glass tanks. They either ship with plastic, or with none.

Thank you to both of you. Lovinthevapor, how long did it take you to get used to holding a box rather than something....round? Like I said, I have issues with my hands, so that could be an issue.

Rotku, thank you. I did know about the way it allows 510 connections. A lot of things I read said it's basically a vamo, just a prettier one, and the prettier they are, the more they cost, at least on DV. So is it worth the extra $10 over the Vamo 5? Are there other features that the Vamo doesn't have?

Anyone with direct experience of the SVD?

Lost me over the $10.

Lost me over the $10.

On the Discount Vapers Website, the KMax is $10 more than the Vamo 5. Although the even prettier ones are a couple of dollars more than that.

BUT: I've almost completely ruled out the Vamo right now, and are looking at other alternatives, including the SVD, the MVP, the E-Vic, the Tesla, looking for info on the Lambo 6, etc. Somewhere in that price range, since my money is coming BACK to me instead of having to spend it at Discount Vapers.

I have the SVD. I really like it. In 18650 mode it's 6.25" long. In 18350 mode it's 4.375" long. Both measurements are without a tank on it. Very easy to dial in. Very solid. I'm using mainly evods and a protank 2. The 510 is a little wobbly going on and off but once on its rock solid. I think it's more of a issue with the protank 2 threads. The button changes color as the battery dies. Green to orange to red. It's a nice visual que. The vents on the bottom cap are more than adequate. The top ring comes off but I never take it off. Evods and iclear 16 fit with extra space around them. I set mine to 6.5 watts and lock it. All my clearomizers taste great there. That said I would like to get a Tesla, they look awesome. And I don't think I would mind the button placement sine I tend to set it and forget it. Happy hunting!

I forgot to mention. I have the svd express I guess it's called sometimes. It's cheaper but you don't get the 2 iclear 30's or the long tube. I kind of wish I got the long tube but oh well. I've looked around but can't find anyone selling just the long tube. I don't like metal drip tips so the iclear 30's weren't going to work for me.

But from the review I saw, you don't need the long tube because the tube that comes on it telescopes long enough for the 650 battery, right?

Truthfully, I'm torn between the Tesla, the MVP, and the SVD. I wish there were SOME way to know which of the three were more durable. One shop in the area carries the SVD and the MVP, since they are both Innoken, but they don't know much about the Tesla.

Okay, and some part of me, while liking all the bells and whistles on the MVP, wants to save the extra money by buying the Tesla so I can get a tank and refill one of my juices.

Yes, you can still use the short tube with the 18650.
I don't think you could go wrong with either of those 3. This seems to be the main complaint about all 3...
SVD - It's long in 18650 mode.
Tesla - the 2 buttons are above the screen instead of below.
MVP 2.0 - built in battery and button is hard to press for some.
It seems to come down to more of a matter of looks. Get the one you like the look of the best, if you can live with those minor faults above of all 3. (I'm assuming you're looking at the mvp 2.0 and not the older one)

I'm in a very similar boat. But I was just about to order the zmax v3 tele. Really like the stainless and shortness. The length of the vamo has always been the deal breaker for me, I'm running 18650s only. The svd looks cool but it's even taller than the vamo! The ksd kmax is just as tall. So that's out. I have a kamry k200, the form factor is great, short - 130mm and wide -25mm, but the electronics and 510 are junk. Had it replaced by Eric when the 510 fell out in 2mnths, and the 510 on the replacement stripped in a week &1/2 with a ss oddy. So I'm on the hunt.

I really like the tesla too but don't like the top. I like flat tops.

Would you not recommend the zmax v3?

To me right now the box type MVP looks like my best form size but then can I run a 23mm oddy on it? And I'm gonna have a problem with the 510 breaking loose from the box.

I really lean to the mechs especially the ones with the solid stainless 510 threads integrated In The top cap. But I whish I could get a vv with that feature and short In stature. I could run one with a kick and it would be the shortest Vv available. But I have to open it to change voltage. Wish someone would just make on like this with the adjustment changable from the outside of the mod.
