the big difference of the erlprinz and erlkoing is it doesn't come apart into as many pieces right?

The machining is good but not at the same level as the Erlkonigin still vapes well.
The positive pole opening is 2mm which is an upgrade part on the Erlkonigin so some say the draw is slightly better than the standard Erlkonigin positive pole that is slightly smaller others say the can't tell the difference.

ah tolerance differences as well then.
I'm betting that it quite literally is a case where some peoples it /is/ slightly smaller and in others it's the same size due to precision acceptance on the final.

In regards to quality control variance I don't know their parameters.
I only have the original, but people that have both say the parts are interchangeable.

Oh it could have tolerance differences and still fit amazingly well. I mean the difference between a 100rdent of a n inch and half that most situations wouldn't be something that anyone would notice or would affect anything in a major way, but would be a huge difference in manufacturing cost.
the one local shop has an erlkoing for sale, always wanted it, but can't afford it by a long shot :p
erlprinz looks much better in terms of affordability.

I for one would advise against a Reo, your arms get super tired lifting all that awesome to vape. Ignore my avatar too. ;)

You're a nut! ;)
I'm pretty certain I'll buy one eventually, but I loves my tubes. It's an aesthetic thing as well as a function thing. And a Paps is, well, a Paps! Simple, elegant, very well designed and crafted and a powerhouse of a mech.

Did you grab one from Domo?

I nearly bought the X Lux. But I have committed funds elsewhere.

It was never my intention - I went away and came back 3 times, but the X lux at that price? Easily more than I wanted to spend - or should have, but... 3 mechs in one with the new top and bottom.
If my partner finds out what I just paid for a Vaping device, I'll be in the garage for the rest of the Winter.
But... He still smokes $10/pk per day cigs, so...

I think in this case :p would be an appropriate response to any conflict.

After 25 years, there ain't much can cause more than a cpl days of glares before all is OK again.
Now, if I'd gone out and bought a Tesla (auto), that would be certain death! Lol!

I've tried to turn him on to vaping., but so far to no avail.
When I turned to mods, gave him 2 of my vv/v3s with upgraded Kangers. He carries them, but hasn't made the transition, yet.
I stay hopeful.
Been able to "convert" a cpl friends that were smokers, but not him.
I also know better than to push the issue.

And don't be afraid to remind him of that, either. Plus, look how much you save in mouthwash and air freshener. I mean, you got the cadillac of mech mods for clearance rack prices.

That X Lux will hit harder. I got to borrow one and it hits harder with the same atty and build than my Stainless X does. That means you might vape less, thus saving money on juice.

Am I helping?

Domo's price for the X SS was the same as for the X Lux, so that was an easy choice.
Actually, I've noticed that since I've been vaping, I vape a lot less than I used to smoke.
The main reason is that when I lit a cig, I always smoked it down to the filter - whether I needed to, or not. With vaping, I grab a few pulls to satisfy my nic and flavor needs and then put the device down.
Compared to some, I'm still high nic (just cut from 18 to 12, but started at 24 before I found NT). Also have a few 6 mg juices for dripping.
Thing is, even at higher nic content juices, I'm using much less nicotine because I'm only vaping what I want, instead of sucking down an entire cancer stick, or two.
Even more so since I moved from vv/vw egos to mods.
Currently, I have one regulated box mod (iPV2s) and a few tube mechs - 2 auth I got at clone prices (tons of time searching and a bit of luck and prayer ;) ), and 2 good clones.
The PapsX Lux will be the Mercedes of my collection, I think. Actually feel a bit weird about buying something like that new, instead of second or third hand. Lol@me!

One thing you may not know, is that the X is 23mm. If that sort of thing is important to you, the Lemo and Taifun GT are 23mm.
