I wont answer your questions as others here have already done a fine job. But I will say I came back to the reo for the very reasons you stated. I had a reo grand 2 yrs ago. Used it with a cisco 301 atty or shorty cartos. While I like the convenience of a bottom fed I found the ciscos would get burned flavors after a week or two, and no cleaning would bring them back. Cartos would get stuffed up and nasty after 2 or 3 days. And I didnt like a mech on 1.5 to 2.0 ohms. Not a satisfying vape.

Enter the vv grand and rm2 I bought off the classies about 6 months ago. I built a micro coil (thanks to Super X Drifter's video) with cotton. First few vapes put me in a nic coma (was vaping 36mg juice...I had to drop to 18mg and 12mg). OMG...IT WAS LOVE. Best taste and best nic ever.

So now I build .7 - 1.0 ohm coils and have a othe mech reo....works great. I havent touched a carto, clearo in 5 months or so now.

Simple answer NOTHING beats a microcoil rba, cotton , and a reo.

And dont ever apologize here for asking question! We love to help folks become fellow REONAUTS. cheers!

    OMG.

I go to sleep not even for a full night, and I come back to three pages!

    AWESOME!!!!

I was pretty set on the mini reo, purely because, when possible, I like a small mod. But ZeroOhms posted a pic of the full size Reo Grand next to a Provari mini/Kayfun, and WOW.

The grand is tiny! I thought it was bigger than that.

SUPERB. Now I need to go choose a different mod. And I had the cart full and everything...

Also, good to hear not ALL are using Micros and Cotton. Like I said, I dont dislike that style of building, I just also like spaced coils on silica(and even EKowool too). Right now Ive got five devices in front of me. 2 are cotton/micro, 2 are Ekowool and only 1 is silica(which is kinda rare.. idk how this happened lol), so I am open to finding the best build for the what the Reo likes.

Id like to mention that I think I see why this is such a popular mod. Its not just the mod and its simplicity defining style.. but its the group of people who hang out with Reos in hand. You all are a very welcoming bunch, and Ive got to be honest, the response Ive gotten here, makes me want to buy one more. I might purchase today, if I do Ill fill you all in for sure.

(seriously, blown away here guys and gals)

I too was a low sub ohm vapor, usually a .3ohm dual nano coil set up, but like you got tired of dripping at work and at stop lights. Pulled the trigger on the ReoGrand about a month ago and haven't regreted it since. I have both the RM2 and Cyclone and, for me, the Cyclone provides a little better vape. Not saying that the RM2 is not a great little atty because it is.

As for coil set up, I've tried a bunch of set ups with different guage wires and right now my go to set up for the Reo and Cyclone is a 8 wrap micro (around a 5/64th) with 26 guage kanthal which puts it around .7-.8ohms. I chain vape and have yet to have any issues. Waiting on the sub ohm kit so I can twist some wires together and take a few wraps off that micro.

I look forward to hearing about your first impressions of the amazing REO!

Been vaping a long time. I only use RDAs. Both in and out of the house. But since I bought my Reo Grand, I use it out of the house and... vaping is no longer a collection thing for me. If I buy another mod it'll be another Reo. I'll probably never buy anything else again. End.

Oh and I vape .8 usually. Never knew going lower was an issue for Reos until I heard the subohm kit was coming out.. But I never had to go lower than .8 with my 12mg juice.

    Jman,

It's hard to beat the REO experience. It's a go anywhere vape that's hella consistent, easy and offers the precise dosage of fresh squozen juice on demand in lieu of precooked or juice when the RBA decides when and how much

    Here's some of mine :
