Up spake the Cabin Boy up spake he...actually I have and use a couple of direct to battery mech mods vented both top and bottom with magnetic switches and they are great - they hit like the proverbial freight train...until the batteries go down. Mine are by Delaniemods (Spain) and are called Arcabuz models.

Yes you have to be careful about the batteries you use, yes you MUST use atties with well protruding pins and yes to be absolutely as safe as you can be, you should stick around 1 ohm for your coils...but that said they can be good, if not brilliant, and are pretty future proof.

It's very easy to tell when the batteries are running down and I never run mine below 1/3rd of their charge...but that's just my tupppenceworth!

Obviously he meant that he sees no issues because he knows what he's doing.... Pretty self explanatory if you can understand English....
So which is it? You don't see the issue or you know how to keep them safe?

I have all 3 in front of me.

The Abel has a sleeve, the Optic and Timekeeper are solid body.

All have identical switches.
Tops caps are identical design but the Timekeeper has a cool sundial/clockface laser etching with the others have the standard Hutchinson Design logo.

If you like the interchangeable sleeve thing like a Limitless, the Abel is hard to beat.

The Optic is like a Knurled Timekeeper.
The timekeeper is a Skylike with Abel topcap and switch.
Lol
Style is really the only difference, they are all fantastic mods.

Thanks for this, that is exactly what I wanted to know.

I read his post, in English, and took the post literally (look up the root for literally). I don't see anything in his post that indicates he knows the safety concerns. Owning a bunch of direct connect mods does not qualify you as knowledgeable.

No, but it does qualify him as experienced.

If you read his post, he obviously doesnt see the issue with an experienced vaper using these mods.
Neither do I.

Even though I don't feel the need to clarify my previous post, yes, I can confirm that I am experienced with such a connection, and yes I do know the safety implications. I must say though that the principles of keeping safe with faux hybrids are pretty basic, you just have to know them in the first place.

I have no concerns with buying any of the mods mentioned (hence why I asked), but what I didn't know were the differences. Thanks to Ninja, I am now aware.
