I'm currently using an Apollo VTube with carto tanks and I really like it this way however I'm interested in trying and learning new ways to vape so I'm looking for suggestions on other things I can use on my VTube. The only other thing I've tried is a Vivi Nova which I don't like. I'm not sure if its something I'm doing wrong or what but I get a bad almost plastic like taste when using it.

Other clearomizers maybe? I'm finding the Kanger T2s and the bottom coil CE3s work really well and don't mute the flavor like the ViVi Nova or Vision 2.0 (CE4+ with changeable heads).

You might also want to look into getting a dripping atomizer (such as the i06) and try your hand a dripping. It's not convenient when your on the go, but it's probably the best vapor/flavor performance you're going to find right now.

I haven't tried the rebuildables that EricHill78 mentioned, but those are absolutely worth a go, especially the reasonably priced Phoenix.

I have an i06 that I've never figured out how to use. Do you reccommend any particular CE3s as these were something I was looking into.

I get both the T2s and the CE3s from Discount Vapers, and I highly recommend this vendor for outstanding customer service and good prices:

Yep it can get expensive. The rebuildables though actually end up being very cheap if you stick with them. It's kind of a one time large dollar amount output. After that the cost is minute. Your only buying wire and wick.

If you think about it, vapeing has a high front end output of cash. AFTER you buy your hardware, it starts getting less expensive expecially if you diy in the juice department!

If you really love the v-tube + tanks and they work well, id stick with them...

Unless you already have a few favorite juices and youre bored, then a rebuildable would be nice to learn.

But just like how the vivi nova takes time to set up so that it wicks properly, a different rebuildable will require the same learning curve.

If you like the ce3 bottom coils....and I do, they just don't hold enough for me, and sometimes I do get tired of the syringe although it's really not that big a deal.... later tonite or maybe tomorrow, gotvapes should be dropping a tank called the raven. It's a Phoenix bc style carto that you put into a tank. You can get the carto with tank or get the cartos separately as they should go in other tanks that accept flanged cartos. No punching, no filler, and I'm hoping this will be great.

Also, which version of the vivi did you try, because I love the version 2.5 and I do get mine from gotvapes, some others out there are knock offs made by other manufacturers. I get no plastic taste at all. I'm not knocking Eric at DC at all, don't know which kind he has since I haven't tried them.

So I'm guessing that there is something else to the Vivi Nova then just screwing on the head and filling it..'Cause I get a really bad plastic like taste with it. I heard somewhere about "priming" it. But left it at home and never got to try it.

I would really like to attempt a rebuild able. Although I don't think anything will ever fully replace my carto tank system, I think it would be fun to learn a new vaping method.

I'm not sure what version of the Vivi Nova I have. It was included in a group of things I bought off of the ECF Classifieds. All I know is it was brand new.

I will look in to this Raven. Thanks for letting me know about that.

You make a very valid point. I don't spend anywhere near what I did the first few weeks I was getting into vaping.

Other than dry burn when cleaning, that's pretty much it to the vivi, screw on a head, fill and vape. But unless you just got it, it's very likely you got an older version or a knock off, and many folks aren't happy with those. GV is out right now, but have more coming in I believe today or tomorrow with the ravens. The mini vivis will also be in that order and they'll continue the sale on them for about a week. 9.45 I believe, and most folks are saying they have even better flavor than the big vivi, but I get great flavor from it. I can't stand filler cartos, so I've never tried one in a tank to see what that flavor is like, so maybe I'm flavor deprived. lol That's one reason I'm so excited to try the raven. Been waiting a long time on this. Just hope it's not too expensive.
