I see your point but this thing is supposed to be a beast it must be a juice drinker... And I vape 15-20ml/day...

Tbev: I just bought the Erlkoenigin atty, holds 8ml. fills from the top without breaking down--builds easy, and vapor production in very good. It does love the CC. In fact, the down side that people have is getting too much wick into the juice channels, problem solved with the CC! Glass kit will run you a bit more, 'though. No leaking at all. I went to the O-Ring store and bought a years worth, already...nice vape for flavors, 'cooler' than my Rose. Check it.

Definitely! The wicking in the channels was excruciatingly tough for me (fairly new vaper - 4 months). What is CC? Celucotton?

Whole thread started on it by my bud Jeremy. It's also called Rayon and in fact wicks quite well. This thread has gone viral though. Only pop on it occasionally. Reminds me of what happened to the micro coil thread when it first started.

Well, considering my Fv4 was crap metal, and the post threads stripped out and couldn't vape it, yeah, thinking much, much, much better.
It's made out of stainless steel and if you read the fogger v4 thread or asked, I would have told you that you can use the spare screw included in the bag BC it's the screw that's the wrong size not the hole that is stripped..

Just FYI.... Give it a shot, I figured that out when I got one of mine the same way, it works unless you already stripped it out fiddlefuking around with it.

Well, umm, gee thanks for the false hope, but um, no, all the spare screws were the same size and the positive post threads are crap. Had a V2 with similar problems, should of learned my lesson then. Decent design but crap material and quality control. Maybe the Fat Daddy will come up with a post upgrade, but for now, Fv4 remains in the parts bin. :D

So back on track here I got home and rebuilt the Orchid.

The b&m build was like a 3mm ID. It was so tightly packed with cotton that when I removed it the coils warped. No wonder all I tasted was cotton. Surprised it didn't dry burn

I built a 28g, 2mm ID, 7 wrap came out to 0.5 ohms.

Wicked it with Shiseido cotton. Used too little. It leaked like a sieve. Unlike a kayfun you really have to block the juice channels. I wicked it like a dripper.

Its running perfectly. Tons of vapor, great flavor. Super easy to build. I really do like this atty. I'm looking forward to trying it out at 0.2 ohms and maybe a quad coil.

That sucks sorry, there was a shipment with the wrong size screws, that's when everyone was having that problem, and they sent anyone who asked, correct screws, if it's stripped tell the seller they should send you a new one. I always buy them on eBay the sellers are good about returns, of you ordered it from China they will prolly send you a new one if you ask.

yeah, was going to do that, but there was no way to contact the seller without going through the full return, and frankly feel it's not worth the postage. Most vendors are easy to contact and they'll send replacement parts, the bay's set up so got to play a juggling act. Just best to file it under lesson learned, never buy a cheap azz fogger again. frak em.

Oh yeah. I tried it with Tencel, but it's too stiff, and broke out the big blue box, and then it was all good. I divide out "tails" like I've seen in videos, put less tan a third into the wick channels, killer. Very forgiving stuff, this rayon.

I have 5 of them, one had a screw problem but I fixed it like I said, I was ...... at first so I emailed the guy, on eBay, and he said he'd ship me another one no problem, but I didn't end up having to. I guess you gotta check out the sellers.

Yeah, that thread is huge. It would probably take me a week or so to get through the entire thing.

Do you have any links of reputable websites that I can order some from?

Well Jeremy and Slots both sent me samples to try, so never had to buy any, and I prefer Ramie. But if you skip around towards the end of the thread, you'll see postings of where the buy it. Sally's beauty salon was one that I recall. Or you can pm Jeremy and ask him, sure he'll have a few recommendations. Just tell him dice sent ya. :D

Thanks! I see a lot of people were talking about getting it from Sally Beauty. I found it a little cheaper on another site but since everyone is mentioning Sally's I think I'll go that route.

Here's what I found: Graham Sanek CelluCotton 100% Cotton Coil

The link says 100% cotton but on the box, it says 100% Rayon Fibers. I think this is the right stuff, but I'll PM Jeremy to verify unless someone responds to this post and verifies that I have the correct box before then.

Screw it! I'll just get that 3lb box. It's only $3.50 more and I can give some away.

I'm expecting delivery of 3 new RDA's today and really want to give this rayon a shot as wicking tends to be the most crucial and difficult part of building for me. From the sounds of it, this should be a great help for me.
