The Ego-t says not to use VG or VG mixes because they don't wick properly. Is there some way I can try a VG without buying a whole new kit?

you may but just make sure you clean them every other day, otherwise the juice might get blocked and the inside of the cone will get burned. Happened to both of my attys yesterday...

Welcome to the forum and vaping! It's likely you will try a few different "kits" until you find the one you like best. I've only been vaping for about 3 1/2 weeks and already have four different kits! Remember you spent a small fortune on cigarettes and I read someplace here that good advice is to take about 2 or 3 weeks of "cigarette money" and spend it on your new hobby, it'll all be worth it in the end, and cheaper! Good luck to you.

Litecig is where I got my first ego, but I was an off-and-on vaporer at that point so I wasn't really new to it. I will say that the ego changed me from off-and-on to a full time vaporer and I quit e-cigs after that. It's a great product. I've since moved on to bigger and better things, so if you find yourself not quite as satisfied as you used to be, don't be scared to try new things. There is a plethora of different atomizers, clearomizers, cartomizers available for the ego as it's got the standard 510 thread. If you're not satisfied with what you ordered, you should be able to find something somewhere. This forum is pretty massive, but has a lot of good information in it. Since you have the ego, I recommend looking at the ego-specific forum, good reading there.
