Don't know about the njoy, it gets mixed reviews here... but I am currently a MASSIVE fan of the Dura-C! My first e-cig was the Pilot M401 and I loved it, but the automatic switch is just so unconsistant... turns on by itself in the car, doesn't turn on the same each time you drag on it. With the Dura-C, you push the button and get a great CONSISTANT vape every time. I wouldn't have purchased a manual battery as my first e-cig, but now that I have one, I don't want to go back! Pushing the button doesn't bother me at all.

Well, while waiting for new atomizers to arrive for my NPro I went and ordered it. Basically just wondering how owners of both find they compare? I did some searching here and on google but couldn't find any comprehensive side by side comparisons so if there is a link to one, please shoot it my way.

Thanks :)

Digit--the Njoy is an overpriced Peewee--see www.puresmoker.com and is a novelty at best with little cartridge and battery life.. The verdict is still out on the Dura-C, by Janty, as the Dura was a totally failure IMO as I had many issues as well as many others did. If I was to choice between the two, I would still got with the Dura-C. Even with all the issues of the Dura--at least when it was working, you had cartridge and battery life. As for the N-pro, even on its best day you will never have cartridge or battery life--did you look at the NJOY penstlye which is the Classic at puresmoker? Great battery and cartridge life on the penstlyes--also consider the DSE901's as well-----check out some good video review over at Reviews ---Sun

The Dura C is a great device. The manual switch is the only way to go with the Dura. If anyone is not fond of carrying around a bigger device (i.e. Screwdriver, Magnum Mod or usb passthrough with APC) than the Dura/Yeti/Titan/Joye510 with the manual switch will be the best you can get at this point. I use it now when I give the screwdriver a rest. I can get a satisfying amount of vapor out of it but of course the batter longevity is like any other mini.

Thanks for all the info. :)

I'm not really feeling the larger models (at least for now). The one thing I like about the minis is just taking a puff or two then shoving it in my pocket or in my backpack, or just palming it while I'm doing something.

The one issue I have really is never knowing whether my NPro batteries are charged since the green light isn't much of an indicator (cue future e-cigs with a little LCD on the side heh).

I've read that the Dura-C only has a 4-5 hour battery life? Is this true?

Digutal--If that is the case--it is one of the longest I have ever seen--expect to get 1.5 to 2 hours of use out of an NpRO if you are lucky---Sun

Battery life depends on how much you use them... with my erratic use, I've been getting 2-3 days out of a Dura-C battery. I've seen other people say 2 hours...

I get better battery life from my Dura-C batteries than with the automatic Dura. I think it's because the manual control means that it's only heating the atomiser when I tell it to instead of staying on for a second after I've taken a drag.

I have a feeling that it's kinder on the atomisers too, possibly because I continue to suck for a second or so after I release the button so all the vapour gets drawn out of the atomiser instead of staying in there and gunking things up. It could be that I coincidentally got better atomisers with the Dura-C than with my Dura, so take that with a pinch of salt.

Sorry just got one more Q while I'm here:

I've heard so many various reports on battery charging. I did the initial 12 hour when I got my NPro and I've heard, from that point on, to charge it from 2-4 hours or to charge it just until the light goes green and I really have no idea which I should be doing. o_O

Digital--A 4 hour charge is optimal--forget the green light on these charges--they are unreliable and do not work ----Sun

That is something I wonder about with the Dura-C... people (and the manual) seem to say 1 hour charge for this battery. I don't know why this battery would be different in that regard. Maybe people who have complained about the battery life would do better to charge longer...

I love the dura-c. Great, great, great e-cig. With a couple drops of glycerine added to the cart or dripped onto the atomizer, there's tons of vapor. And the vapor is consistent with every single draw. It's pretty juice-hungry and you gotta make sure to keep the cart topped up or the throat hit and vapor production really suffers.

Throat hit is huge, sometimes almost a little too huge.

My batteries take almost 2 hours to the minute to charge completely, and if I'm vaping heavily, will last about three hours.

The older style duras had some battery and leaking-cart issues. I have zero issues with leaking carts.

I'd also add that the original atomizer is almost a month old and shows no signs of slowing down. I don't clean it or leave it upside down at night to drain or anything, and I drip directly onto it. Vapor production slowed down a little bit about a week ago - I blew it out from the battery end and it was good as new.

All in all, I couldn't ask for more. I'm VERY happy with my dura.
