Anyone have experience with these particular attys from them? I know I've been told to try the Avid Vapor ones (Cisco spec'd @ 1.5ohm), but I love madvapes and already have an account set up there, so I purchased from them. I only bought one to give her a whirl - plus a 306 tip.

This will be my first try with a LR 306 using my 3.7v RoughStack. Any feedback or tips is always welcomed :p I do know not to dry burn these bad boys, and to keep'em wet.

Thanks all!!

Funny thing is, I had ordered one of those 306es on a whim with my last Vaperite order but had never used it since I had several Ciscos (2.0 ohm LR). I finally decided to go ahead and try it today.

What a joke. The thing is horrible compared to the Ciscos. I primed it the same way, took maybe 4-5 drags and took it off and threw it into a drawer. If I desperately needed a backup, I'd rather use one of my Joye 510 LRs than this.

Sadly jfoobar is correct. Not all 306's are created equal. In my experience (I have tried a bunch) the Ciscos have outperformed any other 306 I have tried. The only other 306 that compares (from what I have read since the "no stock" situation has kept me from actually trying them myself) is the Iken LR 306. In fact I like the Cisco stuff so much I have around 40 of his 306's and about 10 other Cisco type attys.

I have wanted to try the Ikenvape stuff for awhile but he has been perpetually out of stock for a month now. He also sells HV 306es (which Cisco appears not to) so if nothing else I will buy some of those. I put myself on his email notification list.

Cisco's LR 510s are also very nice, clearly better performing than the Joye equivalent, although the Joye LRs aren't bad either.

Agreed on the Cisco LR 510's. He really shines on the 306's. The 306 2.0ohm ones are nice too for the VV MODs. Tried the 801 and 901's but still prefer his 306's. Hopefully what I have read about Iken getting product in very soon is true and then I will finally get to try that elusive Iken 306!

I can say, this MadVapes 1.7 version is pretty nice. I don't have anything else to compare to except my 510s...and it really does seem to blow those away. Especially once I figured out how to draw from it. You definitely need to draw on these and use these differently than you would a 510. I will need to get some Ciscos and IKV for comparison as it seems nobody has tried the MadVapes version yet. Thanks for your feedback.

Does it make that nice whhooooossssh hissss noise. Not really sure that describes it accurately but man when I fire up a Cisco it sure is music to my ears. I hope it is the same with the MadVape ones you are hitting. Anyway it sure will be tough to hit a weak standard 510 now won't it? Enjoy them icemanx3

Yes, definitely whooshes and hisses bigtime. Even if this isn't as good as a cisco, I can totally see the big picture of how 306 should be versus 510. AND MadVapes has a buttload of these for $7. I wonder how this will perform on my Big Stu's 3.7v bottom feeder coming next week?? :p I'm going to place an order with Avid now to compare! HISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Enjoy iceman. Now that you are fully hooked on the 306 watch out you will end up like me with over 50 of the damned things in your gear box for fear the Suppliers will run out and you can't live without them. Some people do not like them but man they certainly are my favorite. I bet you will be watching the Iken site for when his get stocked too. Just hide all those purchases from the wife!! Wooooshhhhh hissssss on

BTW - it should work great on a bottom feeder. Just lower nic content of the juice so you don't OD. You will probably not be able to put it down!
