Russian 91 on a SVD

Well I finally broke down and spent some real money on the hobby. I've got a polished Russian 91 original and a SVD on order. I have wire and just need to get some organic cotton and I will be vaping with the big kids. My only concern is the amount of wick this setup uses. How much juice do you actually waste when you change wicks/flavors?

You can basically vape a Russian pretty much dry, so when changing wick, dry burning coil, and rinsing out tank, you are only losing the film of juice on the inside of the tank, and what is saturated in the wick. I'd say less juice than is left in a bottle when you throw it out. I've had the same build and wick in my Russian for about a month, or about 80 ml of juice ran through it and haven't messed with so far, but then I am using hemp fiber for wick, which last longer than cotton.

Have fun with the Russian, tis a great rba.

Thanks. What's the story on hemp? Never really heard of it. What is the benefit over cotton? What are the down sides?
