Sorry I should have answered this in my previous post. I have posted about this before. My vamo fits an MT3 / EVOD on it perfectly, but I have seen others that cannot fit an MT3 on there, as they were missing the ego threads. Mine has them, I can pretty much put anything on my vamo and it works. I did get a straight-sided beauty ring for my pro-tank and that was simply because I read all the threads about the head being weak on the vamo and breaking or bending and so I screwed my pro-tank down on to the beauty ring and not the threads themselves.

Aglet the older vamos, like mine, have ego threads - I can screw ego cones onto mine easily. But the T3 bases are too wide for the older Vamos. Doesn't affect me as I don't use T3s. The new ss Vamos can take the T3s ok now. They widened the catchwell a bit.

Thanks Kiwivap, I was in another thread posting about the straight sided beauty ring I use for my pro-tank and someone else came in and said their vamo didn't have the ego threading on it. I thought it was weird and I was actually thinking I had a clone of a copy of a reproduction of a vamo and the older vamos were all like that with no ego threading.

It's all good info so thank you.

Echoing what others have said...it seems people have hit or miss luck with fitting their particular device on the Vamo. Having that adapter around that you posted the link for may be handy!

I think mostly people have been fine with delivery systems Samurai - the Vamo wasn't the only pv that the T3 was a problem for. It was a T3 design issue really IMO - they should have gone for more compatibility. Other than that I haven't seen people having attachment issues (sounds psychological - lol). Mine's taken everything I put on it just fine. I have adapters just to be ready for different threading - I have some 808 attachments for example, as well as 510.

It's funny, but it was actually Samurai's thread where I posted about putting a T3 on a vamo and got asked how I did it lol. It just popped up on the first page of the new members forum.

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/new-members-forum/421799-looking-vamo.html

Some good info on it too so I'm posting the link.

Erm... I think I've been on that one too. :toast: BTW - the "Bamboo" was just a name a vendor, Health Cabin, came up with. They ran a competition and had people vote on the name they liked best - so it was bamboo. hasn't really caught on though - everyone calls it Vamo. Its also been called the Etna and the Eagle by other vendors.

Yessir! You are correct. I should've been more specific and said some degree or hit or miss luck with getting their Ego type threaded device (like a Kanger T3) to fit without an adapter or issue! My mistake!

Its all good. Btw - I'm not a sir (lady here) and no offense taken either. Happens sometimes on forums.
