I ordered 500ml of 18mg nicotine unflavored base. I want to add a very mild flavor. Previously, all of the juice I ordered was too strong for daily driving.

What I want to do is add a very mild original bubble gum flavor and maybe some other flavors, but again, I want a very mild flavor. If I had to guess, maybe 1/10th the "normal" flavoring added by retail stores selling already made juice.

Who should I order the flavor from and how much should I add?

EDIT:
I'm looking at the LA Bubble Gum concentrate at Bull City. It comes in 10ml, 30ml, 120ml, and 480ml. How much would I add to 500ml of unflavored base (18mg, 70vg/30pg)? More or less, I want to know which one to order... One review says it should be used at 2%.?

If you have a commercial liquid you like use that as the flavoring. Until I went entirely to flavoring my DIY I diluted my favorite liquid 25/75. The unflavored was the 75 and it tasted better than the original because it wasn't over flavored. These days I add 1% of an all in one flavoring I like. That's 1 ml of flavoring concentrate to 99ml of unflavored.

Many of the options have reviews you can look through for some advice. You might find more information if you track down the individual flavor makers and look them up.

I have no experience with bubble gum flavor, myself. For a rough start, you can presume most vendors put about 20% flavoring in their pre-mixed liquids, you can start at 2% and go from there. Note that some flavor makers put out very strong stuff (Inawera, for example), so you may want to start even lower if you choose those.

P.S. The idea from sofarsogood is a good one; use your unflavored liquid to dilute some of the ones that were too strong. Cut them in half, or mix in two parts unflavored, or even nine parts unflavored if you want only 10% of the original strength.

A good place to buy flavorings that are already blended to be terrific, is One Stop DIY Shop. They have some proprietary flavorings called One Stop Flavors and One Stop Blends. All you do is add about 8-10% of just 1 of those to your Nic base, plain PG, and plain VG. Of course, if you want very mild flavoring...you could start way lower than those recommended %.

If you ordered 18mg unflavored base already mixed at your preferred PG/VG ratio...then just add some of one of the above types of flavoring to a small amount (maybe 5-10mL) of your Nic Base, to start with. Once you find which you like best...then make a larger amount of it.

They have some of the above that are favorites of many here on the ECF, like Strawberry Milk, Lucky Shot, Lotta Latte, Baked Cinnamon Roll, Blue Raspberry Slushie, etc., etc. They're also available in 9mL sample sizes for cheap. They don't have a Bubble Gum though in the One Stop Flavors or One Stop Blends.

One thing you might Consider is if you are Looking for a Very Mild Flavor is to pick up a 30ml Bottler of TFA Sweetener (Pure Sucralose in PG Base) when you buy your Flavoring(s).

18mg/ml Nicotine Base might have a Nicotine Taste to it. So it Might be Hard to make something like a Mild Bubble Gum without using Enough Bubble Gum Flavoring to cover the Nicotine Taste.

Adding a Few Drops of TFA Sweetener to 30ml of 18mg/ml Nicotine Base can take the Nicotine Taste out of a Nicotine Base.

And once the Nicotine Base has a Neutral Taste to it, it is Easier to get Mild Flavors using standard Flavorings.

I used to do the same thing! Especially with the companies that would give you bottle
of flavored 0 mg nic juice, just use it as flavoring.

Great resource and close to home thanks for the tip!

Vape Wild has both DIY and E juice bubblegum flavor. Their e juices tend to be the strong flavored ones you mention but if you like what they have as far as taste (and they offer sample sizes) then you can either order their juice and some unflavored base to dilute it or just buy their BG flavor to add it to a base of your liking. They have mixing instructions on their web site. I think they tend to go with 20% flavor to base so my guess would be to start at 10% but it depends on what you like of course.

Just FYI - you could add 10mL of the flavoring to your 500mL of base liquid, which would come out to about 1.9% flavoring. But DO make a small bottle first, like Stosh says. You might hate it, or at least want to adjust it.

It's disheartening to throw out a juice that's overly flavored to the point that it's easier to start over, but that can happen.

As others have said, use a 10ml bottle, and add flavoring using drops or a syringe so you can record how much you added (write it on a label and stick it on the bottle). That way you can repeat it once you know the recipe that worked.

It seems like you're maybe a bit new to this, so I hope I'm not being being patronizing when I say that it's very unlikely that you will continue to find the exact same flavor to be just what you want for 500 ml worth. We almost all change our tastes from our first experiences, and almost nobody vapes only one flavor -- but even for the few who do, it's usually after going through a quite a few flavors and experiments to find The One. As others have suggested, I'd start with a much smaller test batch, and then if you like that, make 30, 60, or 100 ml and use that up to see how happy you are with the idea of more of the same before committing all your resources to only one taste.

If the idea of figuring out the percentage for various amounts is the problem (we ALL have this problem, don't worry!) using a mixing calculator will make it all pretty easy. I'm a little frustrated because I'm not allowed to link to the online calculator that I use, but here's one, for example. And there are *many* others online (search something like e liquid calculator), plus many you can download to use on your phone, like this one created by an ECF member.
