As the title says, I threw in a few uncommonly used flavorings with my recent order and am just fishing for a little feedback or advice if anyone has experience with any of them. They are:

FA Rose
FA Cardamom
FA Zen Garden
FA Regea Nights
and
TFA MJ

I picked up the mj because I've heard it is a piney taste, which I can see being useful somewhere. Cardamom I just love the smell of, Rose as well. I'm gonna be trying out some tea flavors, so these 5 seemed like they may just be nice notes in a tea.

Any experience with any of these?

Fa Cardamom is a staple in my flavorings. You do NOT need a lot, and I actually use a dilution of it at 20% before adding it into my mixes at about .5%. So that's about 20% concentrate in 80% PG and then that's added in at .5% to my mixes. It's great for desserts/fruits when a real spice is needed. Haven't tried those others though.

it is a staple in my pantry, and I am trying out FA for the first time and saw it, had to grab it to try. I don't really do fruity vapes, but I saw it going great in the dessert type juices that I love. Thanks for the dilution tip!

There are a few FA flavors like that (more than few actually) where you can go heavy on the dilution prior to the mix. Oh, and it is 100% cardamom taste, not some weird concoction of ingredients to approximate the taste. I think you'll be impressed.

So nobody has tried any of these other flavorings?

From the reviews I've found, it tastes like pine needles. I'm working on some herbal flavors right now, something that's not tobacco, fruits, or desserts. Something earthy, greenish. This may very well fail miserably, but that's part of the fun.

Well then Zen Garden may be what you want; basil, oregano, and rosemary with a splash of sage and thyme. Enjoy!

Zen garden: Yep, straight up basil right there
MJ: I don't know how to describe this one
Rose: This is just awesomely accurate! It tastes like a mouthful of rose petals, not perfumy at all.

This is all I have tried so far, but I'm rather impressed with FA so far. Their flavors seem to really pop and taste as expected. Bout to try their custard and the various creams I bought. Gonna be a long evening making samplers

Yeah, about those "custards and creams," uh, well, even Michael Jordan sucked at baseball. I know, I know. No diketones. But even still, I don't think anything is wrong with those flavors exactly, but my issue is that they are billed incorrectly (IMO). As far as I am concerned, their custard/creams are more soft spices and I find it a massive struggle to taste them as in any way approximating custards or creams (save for Meringue and Fresh Cream, and Fresh Cream tastes more like Crème Fraîche).

Still working my way through the flavors I bought and I have to say that their custard tastes like a true egg custard. Can taste the egg and the lemon, which I don't care much for. Would be awesome without that lemon, but I'm almost certain it will blend really well, with say butter for those evil diketones

Haven't made it to the other creams as stand alone flavors yet, that will have to wait til tomorrow.

I respect your take and can even see why you would say some of that about the custard -- I can definitely taste the lemon! ;) I can get the "egg" when actually tasting the liquid itself (not in vapor form), but for me it gets totally lost when vaped and this other thing happens that influences other flavors, but just doesn't lend itself at all into custards -- though I bet it would be great with the sweet grease. Luckily I've learned to use it for other purposes besides custards -- I use it to give fruits a softening and slight zip when they taste too simple.

As I frequently do when I run into an opinion I appreciate that differs from mine, I go back and see if I can obtain a level, some level, of connection with that which they spoke -- I will let you know if I get to that place with this flavor. What percentage did you use it?

p.s. I should not have lumped the custard in with "soft spices" as I use it more as a citrus element.

I used it at 5% originally. Then I just dumped it, the rose, and the FW butterscotch samplers I made all together... Interesting vape right there :)

I made a quick more 'traditional' custard on the fly to have to vape at work tomorrow, and it is pretty darn awesome!

Cap VC 8%
FA Vienna cream 1%
FA Fresh cream 1%
FA Caramel 2%
FA Catalan cream 1%
FA Chestnut 1.5%
FW Cheesecake 2%

This was a complete seat of the pants recipe without tasting it as I went, and I have to give myself a lil pat on the back here. I've not had a custard this good in awhile now.
