Ordering from Sourcemore

I'm unfamiliar with this Chinese co., and I made an order on the 5th of this month for an in stock item. The order is still in processing. I'm usually pretty patient with these Chinese companies because I order items I'm not in too much of a hurry to get, but still, 7 days to process an in stock item? I am just wondering if this is normal for them, or maybe it's just because of this time of the year?

Edit: I did find a little info here, not much, but maybe this is normal for them.

I've ordered from 3 different Chinese companies, and for the most part, if they show in stock, it's usually processed for shipping pretty quickly. It's past that point where it's anyone's guess when it will move. I'd try to contact them for an updated status.

In-stock usually means they send a rickshaw to pick up the item, at the local factory.
Traffic can be heavy in Shenzhen, China...

I have had several orders with sourcemore, about 4 in total. I think they get items out the door quicker than FT. I usually get the sourcemore package in about 2 weeks, compared to FT typically taking 3-4 weeks. I have one package being help up, processing with an item still back-ordered. One huge advantage FT has over sourcemore is the software. At FT, you can cancel shipment that is still processing if there is a delay for an instant gift certificate and go for other item(s). At Sourcemore you get stuck. It could be weeks and weeks of delay and pending items forever processing and you're stuck the cash. Sourcemore had sent me an email stating they will not be able to get the back-ordered item and what would I like to do... cancel the item, cancel the whole order? I told them to cancel the order and I will place a new order. I have yet to hear back from them since with no store credit awarded. Again huge advantage for FT with the flexibility in cancelling orders for instant store credit. I am now at the mercy of Sourcemore for when the getting around to issuing a credit and they are very rapidly losing me as a customer.
