So I have my list of flavors to buy, and I only have 1 flavor that I need from specific vendors. Like I went to order from LorAnn's to get the "Cheesecake" and they wanted to charge me more in shipping than the 2 oz bottle I was buying already cost. So I hit the eject button.

Just went to order from Natures Flavors and bought a big bottle of "Organic Vanilla Cream Flavor Extract Without Diacetyl " and they wanted to charge me $8.95 in shipping. And that was the cheapest they had to offer.

SO now I am just frustrated and will probably end up making my bulk order with CAP and TFA and just use their flavors when recipes call for. Unless there are other options that are not so ridiculous when it comes to buying 1 or 2 flavors from a single vendor?

Yep it's a problem. I run into that all the time with a few specific flavors that only one vender makes. Like hangsen chocolate, caramel and peanut flavoring. Only RTS has it and when I ran out I didn't need anything else but that flavor so I bit the bullet and ordered it. Was glad they also had large sizes of it so at least I wasn't stuck having to buy 5, 10ml bottles. Sometimes you just have to bite the bullet and pull the trigger.

Thanks a million! I actually had previously stored Bull City Vapor in my favorites and I got to tell you........I knocked out my whole list except for 3. which was pretty impressive I have to say. And my list had a good 15 flavors on there. 2 of them were actually out of stock and the NF Organic Vanilla Cream, they don't carry.

On a similar note....... I wanted to try a good scotch custard and top RY4 brand on the sweeter side. Any pointers?

Bull City just got in RY4 Double-TFA which I have not tried (just ordered myself from them) but it has the highest votes from people on here. There is a large list where people voted on their favorite flavors for DIY somewhere on here.

Next highest rating was Holy Holy Grail Ry4. I think it has 3 votes.

Sorry i dont know about the scotch custard. But Bull City also just got in Vanilla Custard V2-CAP which does not have Acetyl Propionyl, and Acetoin, that most custards do. I held up my order waiting on this. :) They do not have the 4oz size, but do have it in smaller sizes now.
