Got my new batch of egoT's. Two of the atomizers were greasy, so I gave them all a shake in ethenol before drying them out for a few hours (summer and a fan help with that). After the trouble with my previous set and some info gleaned from around the forums, I used my injector to soak the wicks in each (a few drops on each then let them sit, un-inject the excess, repeating this a few times)... finally using the injector to flay the ends of each wick just a bit, and injecting a drop or two directly into the wick. I also used the injector to pierce the membrane of the cartridges... last time I just popped a cartridge onto the atomizer and it ripped a big hole which I'm sure would leak. The piercing helps to create a zigzag shape which means you should be able to carry extra carts without leaking.

I used my dropper to fill the cartridges and the membranes popped back on fairly easily. Two of them tasted delicious immediately. The other two were gurgling a bit and tasted bad. So, I re-flayed the wicks again and this time pushed a bit of the wick in. No more gurgling. I let them sit for a bit, just in case the wicks need some time... I'm vaping happily on one now and admiring the other three sitting in a cup waiting for tomorrow.

Ah, yes, one of the atomizers was a really tight fit for the cartridges, so I carefully used a leatherman tool (pliers) to expand the neck a bit... it's still tight but better. One of the atomizers is also a bit loose on the cartridge, but not too bad.

Oh and I also ordered some juice: 10mL chocolate, 10mL cherry and 30mL of Marl... they mixed it up and sent me 2 bottles of chocolate and no cherry... I planned on mixing the chocolate with some strawberry I already have... and man, that chocolate tastes nasty in my old 901s... I finally ended up diluting it down to 10% mixed with 50% strawberry and 40% marl... and it's still a badly overpowering flavor. Perhaps the 901 doesn't have enough power and I'll try it again later with the ego-T... I'm still disappointed with the lack of cherry. But it was cheap so I won't complain too much.

On a side-note, I usually take a 1:1:1 mix of mint (or menthol), apple, and marl... The apple juice from that store is fantastic.

Conclusion: I found a local re-brander of Egos (not Ego-T's) and they charge about $130 for a double set. Even other online sellers can't match Chinese factory prices... as long as you're willing to screw around with them a bit, because for the cost of return postage, you can always just order more. Heh. Sometimes, I love living in Asia.

Thanks Justaguy... another Chinese site that will deliver to Korea. I've ordered a bunch of stuff from SoMyBox just now. Their variety of juices are awesome (though very unspecific about strength), and it took me a second to realize you can't just press back on the browser to get another juice... and I hope their delivery is faster than their site load times. I haven't seen such a slow site since dial-up. But their prices are phenomenally low...

...I guess I'll get to test their customer service, too, since the Paypal transaction went through but it didn't kick to back the SoMyBox site properly and I show no pending orders... just a full shopping cart. Hmmm. Methinks their site works best in Internet Explorer and not Chrome...

Yes, darkpoet, SoMyBox site needs work. I thought it was busted, couldn't add a 2nd bottle either, realized as you did that you had to go back to e-Cig page and go there again. Same thing happened to me when I did Paypal, had to double check with them if my order went through. It took them a couple days before shipping my order. And their site does NOT show pending order until they have the money from Paypal, a one day delay. I'm also on Chrome! Maybe that's it. I think Gary is the owner. I've spoken to him multiple times via email.

I heard e-cig tax is heavy if you buy in South Korea. Hope this works for you. After 10 days, my "registered airmail" is still on a boat in the Pacific! You get what you paid for.

I got an e-mail the next day... I think Paypal gives their system a kick and they didn't actually read my e-mail until after Paypal went through. Anyway that part is all good but heading up on 6 days and my EMS hasn't showed up anywhere for a trace. E-Cig-China usually shows up within 72 hours (weekend or not).

Thanks for the warning but I already ordered lots of juice but less than $20 wasted if it's total crap... You got me worried about the eGo-T, especially since I was reading at the Jaunty Manufacturing site that imitation eGo's have been popping up - easily identified by the ugly paint job and strange battery button.

The eGo-T's I ordered from E-Cig-China... suck. Horrible taste after only 2-3 cartridges. I'm sure I made it worse by pulling them apart to clean and fix... Either these are early revisions of the eGo-T or I should not have cleaned them or pulled them apart so soon. I'll take a look at SoMyBox's stuff when it arrives and compare. If they're crap too, I might just order from the US or EU, since Janty Korea charges $25 for a single eGo-T atomizer ($50 if you want a 6 month warranty)... but I also might just give up. The eGo-T has been a disappointing experience, but the price of starter kits with the 5-click battery is still cheaper than ordering single batteries from the US...

Don't mean to alarm you, darkpoet, just my experience. I told Gary at Somybox their Dekang is fake, no response. He was quick to answer until I complained. I'm pretty sure you will get your stuff, can't say to quality. I may go back for non-mechanical accessories, that's it.

Many ECF folks swear by http://www.heaven-gifts.com, Healthcabin Electronic Cigarettes - Wholesale and Retail--, and Greenhouseone.com. You can go to Forum Suppliers and sort by country. Good luck!

Got my stuff from Somybox.com today. I didn't test all of the juice but 2 of them taste wrong and one drew into the syringe so easily it seemed like mostly water. The eGo-T kit is suspicious to the extreme. I am hesitant to test out the atomizers at all... they look seriously wrong. I ordered the 1100mAh batteries in my kit and they are not 5-click but they do seem to work.

As I stated earlier, because I live in Korea, most Chinese suppliers will not ship e-cigarette kits to me. E-cig stores in Korea seem to have contracts of exclusivity (Ovale is Janty Korea, We-Top is a Go-go reseller, and there are others) and the prices are inflated so badly that it's actually cheaper to order from the US... which seems ......ed but there it is. I'm pretty sure all 3 suppliers you listed won't ship e-cig supplies to Korea. I will try ordering juice from them later.

Hey darkpoet, I still have not gotten a response from Gary at Somybox. Guess he didn't like my review of his "Dekang" juice and I'm out $15. If you look at that site, he sells all kinds of stuff other than ecigs. I don't think he's very knowledgeable on his products. Don't order "a bunch" from a vendor you've never dealt with next time. Hope you get some mileage on those batts.

To me, it doesn't matter where in the world I order from as long as the shipping cost & time are acceptable AND it's a reputable dealer, don't forget customs office. Good luck!

Only genuine joye/janty products can't be delivered to Korea due to the exclusive contracts (no sure about Go-Go and that type, never looked).

They say it's taxes, but it's not. I asked Janty to provide me with information about taxes, they sent me to JantyKorea whom told me they couldn't discuss it. Looked up Korean tax laws, nope nothing in there (yet). A friend owns one of those Janty booths, after a few pints he broke down all the costs... taxes were very little, and a whole lot of profit. Import taxes do add a bit to the prices, but nowhere near what the markups are.

901s aren't bad if you do a ZFM Mod (Zero Filler Mod)... I use automatic 901s when washing dishes because I don't have to push any buttons. They're not bad for occasional at-home use and I especially like the ZFM 901 for testing out new flavor mixes. They certainly suck for capacity and battery-charge time and battery use life. But at least I've found something for the capacity: eGo 510 tanks fit well... now to figure out how to apply the ZFM mod to that...

By the way, I usually use cartomizers. I'm still hooked on my Go-go but the eGo with a Dual Coil Cartomizer is also pretty good. Cartomizers are cheap to replace and the batteries on both kick ....

Hi there,

i've also just received some juice from Somybox along with my new KGO Kit.
I agree that the juice tastes and smells awful, so don't buy from them untill they provide better products... the flavors also didn't match, they barely seemed to be all the same.. i guess their base has strong smell, and their flavors are weak or bad or ... not genuine !! lool all flavors are not genuine, but the liquid is just... i wouldn't sell it to my ennemies even

for the KGO, the kit seems ok.
I'm just having a question: where can i find the best juice? which website. i live in france, so uk based sellers are ok for me. but i can order from US ones ..:2cool:

cheers

    in a cave, eh?
    Here's a couple of U.S. juice vendors you might like: Vapor4Life.com, HaloCigs.com, JohnsonCreekSmokeJuice.com, Avejuice.com (Alien Visions), GoodProphets.com, TastyVapor.us, GourmetVapor.com, BackwoodsBrew.net, VermillionRiverEjuice.com.

I'm not familiar with the U.K. juice vendors.

As for hardware vendors, I don't know of any issues shipping to France, so I'd try some of the more reputable Chinese vendors like: Heaven-Gifts.com, BestEcig.com, EastMall.net, Trueman-ecig.com.

In the U.K, you can try liberty-flights.co.uk. I believe there are several other good ones in the U.K.
